Gave it it’s first clean in a long time. Too embarrassed to show what it looked like before.

Annoyingly, noticed the path to our front door was grubby so gave it a jet wash. Successfully splattered the back of the M2 in the process! Didn’t notice till I’d finished packing up too!

Last saturday we went for some 'sightseeing' @ Moto GP Assen TT Circuit in the Netherlands(were we live...)

There were 3 M2s but this is from Advevo 's cockpit trying to intercept me

My M2 Comp is bone stock but an MHD Stage 0 tune(500) on my old almost worn out PSS. No brake modification(blue brakes) which I will change in the near future.

The camera car. M2 Comp. blue brakes, Ferodo Pads, Ferodo 1.11. Recaro seat. Cheapo 235 square drift tyres. Driver:Pro

Love that this thread is still alive and kicking. Almost at one million views. I've moved on from my M2 since my original post here but remain somewhat active nonetheless sharing my experiences. What a great car. I miss mine.

Do you remember where you got those track decals?

I'm guessing you don't sill have the 96 318is? I picked mine up in from the BMW Niederlassung on the Frankfurter Ring long before The Welt existed. Pick it up on March 19 so 25 year anniversary is next month! Had some great times in that car, it needs some work but it still runs!

No on the the 318is. It was my sons starter car. Great car but sooo slow. Factory limited slip was beautiful. I still have videos of him at car control class doing skidpad exercises in pouring rain.

The Contis just suck. I went from the Contis to the Michelin PSS and can't tell you what an improvement they are

Replaced the turbo inlet pipe.

The oem one cracked at the neck where the vacuum line/sensor goes in. The car was leaking boost for a while without knowing.

With the new silicone pipe now the car idles as it's supposed to during a cold start.

On BM3 stage 2 and fabspeed.

No CEL, I just had a bit of a rough idle during cold start but thought it was something with the tune/mods but it wasn't.

So it had cracked from the sensor bracket and from the bottom of the neck where the vacuum line/sensor goes into the inlet. So I soon as I touched the line, it fell off the intake.

I've seen videos where the actual line is also cracked, but you won't know since the lines are wrapped with heat shield. So I also replaced those lines with silicone ones that go into a oil catch can.

Just got it lowered today along with the lug stud conversion! It's on Bilstein B16 PSS10's mated to Millway camber plates, level 5 dampening and -2 camber both front and rear. The shop accidentally put the 12 mm spacers in the back and the 10 mm in the front (it's supposed to be reversed) but honestly, I think it looks really good.

Installed my new lip, got the windshield tinted at 50%, and tinted my mirror turn signals

Last few pieces of the cosmetic puzzle are cf side winglets (anybody selling), bayoptiks headlights, and a gts hood but these are at least a few months out.

Thought I'd give XHP a try, was mainly after the higher clamping. So far so good, had some initial flashing issues but the XHP guys resolved it.
