The stage 2 tune had a pretty big effect on everything across the board. I'll probably be running the Racegas stage 2 tune on track days. Mixing 93 with some boostane to get 100+ octane. Will report back on that once I get her on the track next month. From what I understand, it's a 15-20 HP bump on 100 octane. |

Built a custom BM3 agent device and made a semi permanent install in my car. Decided to install it in the trunk next to the battery to keep it out of the way. Plus its super easy to tap an ignition fuse from there.
Here's a breakdown of parts for this build if anyone is interested. - raspberry pi 3b - case for RP - 16GB Micro SD card - generic OBD extension (about 1 ft) - OBD to Ethernet adapter (Like an ENET cable but with a female RJ45 jack on it) - 12ft ethernet cable - 12v hardwire to micro usb The OBD extension has a right angle plug on it, so I was able to fish the other end up into the access panel on the driver side near the dash. From there, I connected the OBD to ethernet adapter, and then an ethernet cable. I routed the ethernet cable along the driver side door trim, into the trunk. To power the raspberry pi, I connected it to a tapped fuse that is turned on/off with the ignition, so it won't drain my battery when the car is off. The raspberry pi itself is velcroed next to the battery, easily accessible if I need to remove it to reflash it, or for any other reason. I also modified the BM3 image slightly to use my own wifi hotspot SSID and passphrase so I did not have to make a new one called "bootmod3" While doing all this wiring, I also finished up the relay box connection for my aim solo. I needed to resolder a new plug on the side that connects to my car. No pics of this, but if someone's interested I can post some up. |

Fitted the M2C / M3 / M4 Aluminium strut brace, including the required M2C / M3 / M4 strut top hats, and the M3 / M4 strut reinforcement rings.
2.5 hours work start to finish, really not that difficult to do, and makes an enormous difference to comfort and steering feel. CFRP brace is on the way, and will be fitted once it arrives. Hoping for even more of an improvement once that is fitted.
