So glad I didn't trade up for the M2C, as I want this BAD and will be worth the wait.

I love my m2c! Family is getting bigger, another one will be here in 4 months... i cannot, not willing, to let my m2c go.. I havent had these feelings driving a car since my '98 s4!

My other option is to get the stelvio quadrifoglio for my family... the new mercedez GLB250 looks pretty cute too but i highly doubt the driving dynamics are there. But heard itll be a 7 seater and probably half the price of the stelvio. Decisions decisions!

I was surprised at the GT4 pricing - 100k to start...yikes!

Makes me think the M2CS will come in even higher...and since it will be a limited production run, well, they can price it however they want and I'm sure it will sell out.

The M2 CS is in a different league from the GT4 though; the "limited production" status, manual option, adaptive suspension, not to mention its last-M2-build-in-Germany will guarantee a legendary status in automotive history.
Can someone explain the benefits of adaptive suspension? Looks like an adaptive suspension button on the center console.

Good points with options and tax this could be over $120k for a Cayman. Close to new 911 Carrera S. This also could increase M2 CS base price grouped with only 9 months production.

I think the pricing will be much higher than one would think. only 2k unit worldwide...they can price it as they wish.

+1

I've been wavering between 80-85k as an guesstimate for where the CS will land...hell, it might be even worse than that...

M2CS is going to be low 70s. Which is going to be almost 50% higher than original m2. What's a stripper m4 with adaptive suspension? $69k msrp. M2 isn't designed to be BMW Halo car. It fills a different niche. M2CS extras over stripper m4 are wheels, CF hood/trunk. It's also smaller and has a lower rent interior.

$74k for a stripper m4c

Drove an M4 a few times. Have to say those recaro seats are horribly uncomfortable. For that type of money how can you not produce a sport seat that is also comfortable?

Never said I believed USA version would be that price. Was showing what that number is and how crazy high it is. Probably so high because the dealership was hoping the potential buyer was all hyped up and would pay that much.

You are definitely not going to get the same feeling driving any of the Merc products as a M2c. Especially when you take dimensions into account.

The Stelvio is a great option for the family as long as you are leasing. However, the brake by wire was too much for me to overlook compared to the M3 we currently have.

I see that people bring up limited edition of 2,200 as an indicator that this will be priced through the roof. However, if a recall, the M3CS was slightly more limited and there was not a huge demand for them.

I still think even though the GT4 is unlimited, Porsche will artificially limit it and will be much more desirable.

Saying all this, I still want to M2CS!

Perhaps the fact you can get a MT will increase demand for m2cs. Perhaps the higher production number and incoming G80 m3 will lower demand.

Picked up my 2020 M2 Competition yesterday and when I went to take the front license plate holder out of the trunk, I noticed this. Guess they'll both use the same front bumper. Hummmmm...

They'll sell every single unit before it hit the shores..

I totally get why the M4 CS wasn't as popular; there wasn't much to differentiate it from what you could already get on the M4 CP, plus you lose the manual.

If I had a M4, I certainly wouldn't care for a CS every though I am partial to its OLED tail lights.

The M2 CS includes a lot more you can't get on the standard M2C and there's the added CF roof, adaptive suspension and manual option. It will appeal to a lot more folks.

Although I would love an M2 CS, I can't get my mind off the 2020 718 GT4; they had me at NA, 414hp, manual.

For reals but obviously Porsche caters to a different tier of customers because the last thing they're worried about is moving units.

Yeah that 100k starting price for the 718 GT4 is just the beginning point for the price of that car. The M2 CS will be mostly fully loaded from the get go.

Really good point - AND there will be market adjustments...I am guessing this car will be going for 140-150 if you want one early...

Likely last NA gt4 and last NA Cayman and boxter, forever. It won't depreciate much, maybe it won't depreciate at all. So factor that in.
