while i was scouring the nationwide new car listings in february 2021 for any 6MT car -- and still praying to find an allocation to order new -- i realized that alpine white is a stone cold classic for any bimmer. if my options had run out, and i was forced to pick a gray-scale color, i wouldve been happy to end up with AW. bland is too strong of a criticism of HS. it's temperamental. there are too many lighting conditions where i think it looks washed out or muted (and i'm just not a fan of the matte-look, although i realize that many people love it). when the light is right, it's a very cool, unique color.

Either way, they all drive the same and you are going to love driving this one. Just be prepared to being late for all of your appointments since you will just want to keep driving! 😜 |

Not sure why M2C owners keep posting questions and comments in the OG M2 sub-forum. You do have your own sub-forum.

Doesn’t change the facts that the messages are posted in the wrong sub forum.

Yes you can. But you are suppose to post appropriate and relative discussion in the forum. As an example talking about your M2 in the M4 forum is not appropriate. But you can talk about M4s all day in the M4 forum.

who cares, this is a question that everyone (even if you don't even own an M2 can answer).
But for real, go see the hock in real life, personally I am not a fan. I think the LBB is the best m2 color and if it was today that is what I would have gone for. I have a BSM and I do like it a lot but a pain to keep clean and at the end of the day its a black car. Also love sunset orange but I feel like I would get tired of it unlike LBB |

I just purchased a 2019 HS and love it! I'm not typically a fan of silver vehicles but this one is good. It looks white or cement gray in certain light and looks like shine silver with Amber hue in direct sunlight. With that said, I love LBB also, I don't think I would have passed up the same car in LBB.

In the end it’s sad that such a great car never had really excellent color choices. |

I agree that LBB is not the best blue choice. The blue on my M235i was a much better blue (Estoril Blue). That is why I didn’t get an LBB M2.

I had almost picked the HS but ended up switching to a LBB one. While I haven’t seen the HS in person, once the LBB arrived I had no regrets. I even get compliments about the color when I drive it.

originally wanted LBB, but they are hard to find compared to other colors. ended up with HS and i like it. matches the calipers for the comp brakes. easy to clean. hides blemishes/scratches.
i agree LBB isn't my favorite blue. San Marino is probably the top blue from BMW imo. 2nd place probably velvet blue. Then LSB. sunset orange and sakhir are a definite no for me. not a fan of that burnt orange look. the fire orange on the e92 limerocks is what i'd prefer.
