That's where I will be test driving one too - did you drive the AW or BSM cars that have manual transmissions?

What's it like 2 degrees off-center? A violent fart should zero you in.

The 5 cylinder turbo sounds terrific, however, the front is too heavy and I generally don't like the audi steering feeling so never considered Audi when looking for my `next` (now present) car. I personally think the M2 looks a lot better in the coupe shape and long beach blue, more unique (classic). N55 with stock exhaust sounds good enough to me, even in comfort it is already loud enough to wake up neighbours ;-) Had a F25 LCI X3 20d (B47D20) for 2.5 years, the sound sucks (of course...), the ride quality sucked (M Sport suspension settings - firm without adaptive dampers), 20' wheel with RFT which made comfort even worse (I was surprised by the M2 ride quality - wife and kids enjoyed it which surprised me (imagine how bad the X3 was...). Seats are better than the X3's but still not as good as the M3/M4, I don't have problem with position as I am 178cm and slim LoL Last but not least, M2 (not pure) DCT costs A$105-110k when new, it's not cheap. To make the best out of the car, I'll try to stick to it for as long as possible. I personally like the M2 better than the M4 (size a bit too large for Sydney urban road condition, don't like the rear much...). I don't see any better car of the same size and type in the foreseeable future. |

To be honest I don't see such a dramatic difference between the original M2 and the LCI/CS
New speedo on the LCI is the only upgrade I could care for, Interior is not really much of a drastic upgrade M2 CS... I avoided the M4 because of the exhaust If I'm selling my M2 it's for another car not the same 10% better |

You assume the CS is going to be amazing, the M2 has brilliant reviews. If the CS is a lot more and not as balanced as the ORIGINAL M2 it could turn out to be a flop.
New is not always better. iPhone X too expensive and ok reviews, no one wants one. newest iPhone and the first iPhone to stop production.

I don't think it's that much of a difference, but I do like the look of the new dash design better. Just that small little change makes the dash look a little more nicer IMO. It looks more like a miniature M4 interior than it did before.

When spending RS3 or M2 money I would implore people to see if they can get long test drives in (eg one whole day). The Audi will reveal itself as the less engaging car.

Depends on the price of the MY19 M2 with the S55, but if the price difference new isn't much, and I don't think it will be much more than 5k, and the car isn't terrible, then yea why wouldn't it drive down values?

On track, the car dies in the straights IMO. I have one of the first 2016s, delivered back in April of 2016 with almost 35k on the odo now. The exhaust note is addictive but if there are significant improvements, I'll consider the new one. It depends on the price point for me. If it's way into the high 60/70s, I'll be going with a Porsche.

Not sure of that. The CS will not be a limited production, furthermore, it will be a replacement for the actual M2, so it can not be that more expensive as a replacement, so he may be right...lets hope not

I don’t know if you’ve seen Catchpole’s newest comparison vid for the M2 and RS3 but he said he prefers the steering in the Audi and that the car overall feels lighter than the M2. It’s a damn good car and probably the best driver’s car Audi in a very long time. That doesn’t mean it’s an M2 or a 718 in that department and it’s not trying to be. |

Mine's not going anywhere soon. It looks and sounds great, is a pleasure to drive, I own it, and its plenty fast for me, as I don't put it on the track. Just turned 67 and no longer think I am the next Gilles Villeneuve!
