Just got my KW HAS installed and I'm thinking it's too low. Curious what everyone's take on it is. I know it's subjective, but I'm having an internal debate and think I need to bring the rear up a little.

Wow, that is slammed. I’d bring it up an inch. Probably giving you more camber that you’d prefer - did you get it aligned?

Yeah, at a glance the rear looks a smidge lower than the front — like the car’s nose is up in the air a little. I agree with raising it some.

Yes too low. It’s tucking the rear wheel, if I saw that on the street I’d think you had a broken spring. Or you live out of your car and keep everything in the trunk!

I'd raise the rear a bit. The front looks perfect IMO. It only looks too low because of the low offset.

Agreed, sunken look can also be the offset wheels.

OP, did you measure the ride height when you installed?

Just a reminder, at OEM 620mm~ height all around. M Performance/BMW optimal ride height is at 595mm front and 600mm rear(positive rake).

BMW measures their ride height via this method:

Good luck!

Not yet. Wanted to get it set up how I like before I take it to get aligned. I'm also waiting on some spacers now.

Haha. That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw it that low!

Wait until the spacers are on. The setup without em changes the entire look. I'm at 590/595 and the car looks completely different with and without the spacers. In a huge fan of this car with the slammed look with spacers on. Look perfect to me but not to others.

I set mine at 602mm front and 605mm rear (each side is 2 threads from the bottom of the collar) with stock wheels and tires. Here it is with no spacers and 255/275 tires - gonna add some spacers to complete it but I think it's sitting at the perfect height personally

Edit: whoops I just realized that the first 2 pics were before the car had a chance to settle (just installed new tires). Third pic is how it actually sits

Stock: 620/620
BMW's recommendation for the MPS: 595/600 (600 in the rear is all the way down)
Common: 590/595

Pure track guys ignore this next part...

To preserve the handling you're going to need to preserve the rake.
Don't go under 590/595 or you'll have several issues that crop up, especially over time.

You'll want to raise it. Once the suspension settles, it'll get even slower than where it's at now.
