Honestly only reason I considered the X3M was the newer tech and nicer interior. I commute a lot from CT to NY so something more comfy and still sporty was why, but for now I’ll stick to the M2 and if in the future I can purchase an X3M while still keeping the M2 then maybe I’ll do it.

Common sense prevails, congrats on the decision!

I also own both and quite a few other cars as well. For a daily the X3M is the hardest hitting SUV I have ever owned. I honestly don't care for it (my wife loves it so it stays). I prefer our lowley 2.8 X3 If you can believe it. It really is the best do it all daily from fuel mileage to comfort to price to the all season driveablity its one of the best out there. FWIW I would not trade our M2 for anything I do think its one of the greats. I do alot of rallies, spirited driving and its even been to the dragon it is def one of my favorite M cars ever. Its not the worst on long highway stints either, but it is not the highway missle the X3M is for sure. However if that's what your looking for I prefer our F90 M5 for that.
