4th build thread in 2 years. Silver Linings M2c (totalled)

Well much like the title suggests, I'm on my 4th build thread in 2 years.. I started with a 2013 328i in march 2020, and It had the dreaded n26 motor so I HAD to get rid of that. I moved to a 435i in oct 2020 and I love that car. It hurt my back though. In April 2021 I was offered a very sweet deal and on an M4 which was my dream car, before it hit a lot. It was a 2016 pre lci though. Mineral white/cf roof and while I loved it, it did also hurt my back, I didn't love the dct, and as of 2/22/22 it had the cold start tick, and a double cracked mpe. I had it in the dealership for some other work, and while I was there I spotted this gorgeous m2.

Stock specs
2020 Hockenheim Silver Metallic
Manual
Executive
M perf cf spoiler, diffuser, and mirror caps
Floating hubs
All weather mats

Pics in order: 2013 328i sport line, 2015 435i m sport, 2016 m4, and 2020 m2c

Out of curiosity, the back pains you felt were they lower back? I ask this because the F3x seats for me if they lack the lumbar support I realized caused me lower back discomfort on long drives. The F82 of course carried different seats so different fit though I'd relate it much more to the F87 but I'm glad you got it worked out and was able to experience the different chassis along the way

All my bimmers have had sport seats with full lumbar support, or the m seats in the m2/m4. Which also have lumbar support. I wonder if the roof line of the 4 series demands a lower seat position for a 6' person? I can sit up higher in the 3 series and my m2. Definitely more comfortable

Autotecknic front splitters. Haven't seen anyone with these and I'm a fan. A little weird with the rest of the aero parts not arriving yet, but I couldn't wait.

Beautiful! Hopefully your back likes this one! Is it the lumbar settings that get to you?

Thanks! No I think it's the lower roof line of the 4 series that somehow makes the seating position lower? The m2c seat position feels more similar to my f30, than my f32 or f82.

Waited over 2 months for them but my PSM Dynamic rear extensions showed up. They are pretty fantastic as far as fitment goes, although 1 of the 3 screw holes lines up with nothing. I chose to leave that one unscrewed instead of self tapping one into the body there. 2 screws and 3m tape feels very secure. Fits next to the m performance diffuser like it was meant to be.

Autotecknic is my preferred cf dealer! I think they can be ordered on Turner and PSM Dynamic directly as well.

Vorsteiner wheels arrived! Definitely love them. V-ff103 in carbon ceramic. This double pic is right after I bought her, vs today, after adding m perf coilovers a couple weeks ago and wheels today. Got her looking like I hoped!

It's insane how bland and boring the stock comp looks when you compare it to yours with the subtle changes.
