I cringe at the thought of a stranger washing my car

Glad they're stepping up and handling it

Good thing you noticed
Same here. Cleaning mine is my therapy. No one will ever clean the car as well as the owner.

Not knocking anyone who doesn't. If I had to daily mine I may be tempted to use someone.

I played cat and mouse with another M2 on the 'Ring. We were very evenly matched, and pulled of 7:53 BTG times. He was right behind me the whole time. It was my first Ring lap which starts with a 7, so I was very excited.

Thanks! I think we were similarly stock. Cup 2 + brake pads/ fluid. Lately everyone has either Cup 2 or Nankang R1s on the Ring. He also had a roll cage. Well driven for sure. We were perfectly well matched as drivers, I pulled away in a few corners, he closed the gap in a few other curves, it was fun

Oh, this was fun. Tried to go a bit hotter into a corner, and had a Doc Hudson moment... you know, from the movie Cars. "Go left to go right"

I totally understand, I asked because I was pretty sure I heard that ABS servo buzzing in the background

Also saved my ass a couple of times, when all off you have to be freakin quick, the M2 can be pretty snappy.

I got ya. To be honest though I think I caught it before DSC though. I think the vibration is hot and sticky Cup 2s going sideways. Either way, I'm happy to have stayed on track for sure.

Totally could be, I experienced this also on Cup2s, those suckers sure make some funny sounds when they lose grip !

Drove back to Bmore from Florida now that winter is over. Made one hell of a drive with my Fabspeed SC and MPE combo.

Killed a few bugs along the way on 95. Gonna need a wash next.

Did you do both mods at the same time? I have the Fabspeed SC and I'm trying to decide on which exhaust I'll end up with. Currently considering the Remus, FI, Dinan, and MPE, just not sure the MPE or Remus will be loud enough for me.

Did MPE first then the SC later. It's loud.

How much louder would you say it is now over stock ?

Way louder. Everything is on steroids. From the popping in traction mode to that BRrrrrt sound when letting off. Driving in tunnels and under bridges sounds like Thor has entered the area.

Tons of fun though. Makes me feel like a little kid at times. This is the only car that always has me smiling.

I have the Fabspeed SC, Dinan exhaust and dinan res delete. Currently, the valve in the Dinan is stuck open due to an install issue which should be resolved shortly.

I am also running the BM3 Stage 1 91 with burbles set to OST. In sport and sport + the burbles, pops, and cracks are unbelievably loud. But these are all controllable using the BM3. I have not tried running the stock tune, but have occasionally run Stage 1 91 with burbles off.

With the valve permanently open, there is some drone at low RPMs which I do not like. But the overall tone is excellent, nice and deep. Once the valve is fixed, I expect I will keep it closed for most street driving and only open it for tunnels, spirited driving, etc. where I don't mind the extreme volume.

I did the Sport Cat and LOVED the change, and I'm just wanting more of that, I just don't know exactly how to get it. I've heard about a million Remus videos, and I'm just not sure it's enough. It's GREAT, but maybe not enough. Fine line between enough and too much? Probably.

I have always loved the warm tone of the Dinan, and it's one I'm still considering for sure. It's one of the big reasons I want to go to Bimmerfest next year, to hear all these exhausts side by side.

Safelite replaced my cracked windshield glass with an OEM piece. Dude had to drive the car to calibrate the camera. He takes off and I swear he didn't get out of first gear until at least 5k rpm. Car had been there for 45 minutes so at least the oil was still probably kind of warm.

USAA of course wouldn't cover oem glass.

I've posted this elsewhere on the forum, but my insurance wouldn't cover OEM either. I let my repair shop know and they said typically they will cover it if they don't have any cheaper glass on hand. My glass repair shop suddenly found out that their last non-OEM glass had imperfections. Got OEM glass covered
