Honestly, given the allocation we are getting in Australia, and the wait list that already exists, I can't see how anyone would be able to get a discount on this car.

I had no budge whatsoever from two dealers in Sydney (North Shore and BMW Sydney). They said they wouldn't drop a dime off the price. They have no reason to.

They did though throw in extras for free. I got the five year extended warranty with included servicing for no cost.

Just my thoughts. If anyone managed a discount, then good on ya.

This. I've put my deposit down at BMW Sydney (apparently I was the first to do so) for an M2 pure in LBB with the only optional extra being the OEM alarm. I thought the car was good value considering there was talk of the prices being 115-120k drive away.

The salesman said I can still change the colour of the car before production is confirmed and he will notify me and I certainly don't want the LBB after seeing it on an X4M. Just too green for my liking.

Between AW and BSM but I simply can't decide.

What does everyone else think of the LBB?

Congrats on your order.

My preference is still LBB but am yet to see the colour in person unfortunately. 2nd choice for me is AW.

I don't see how you guys haven't managed to get any $$$ off, I've called a couple of dealers and they are all willing to make a deal. You just have to show commitment.

Thanks! I saw LBB on an X4M and it just turned me off. It's got too much green during the day.

I'm leaning towards white!

I wonder if the official price has been released for the US market. Would this impact our pricing?

US price won't impact our prices at all, the only thing that could influence our price are the exchange rates. Given that BMW AU has announced the Australian pricing so recently they would be extremely hesitant to move pricing again. If pricing were to change reasonably you would not expect that to happen till an LCI is released. Like Mercedes just did with the CLA and the A 45 AMG.

US pricing converts to $96000AUD once you include.

- Exchange rate
- GST, duties, LCT
- Dealer delivery and registration

I guess now that the exchange rate has dropped so much there is no more of this 'but cars are cheaper in the US'.

How does this compare with the RS3 and CLA45 conversion from USD to AUD?

I feel as if the M2 in Australia is priced harshly in comparison.

Pricing should be the same as the CLA45 AMG, US pricing is within $1500 of the price of the CLA

I've spoken to a couple of dealers this week and they have both stated 4-6 mnths for delivery so it must be dependant on dealership and there allocations?

Manage to scrub a bit off with the price. So the wait time was a bit of a trade off.

I also quite like the LBB , but i might get sick of it after a while. AW is more neutral. Always really like the 1m in white though.

Windscreen with grey shade band
The grey shade band at the top edge of the windscreen contributes to driving comfort by reducing direct sunlight in the driver's eyes. It often prevents dazzling entirely. The centre portion of the windscreen, where the driver's gaze is generally directed, remains clear and bright, along with the rest of the windows, so that the view of traffic all around is in no way hindered.

This option is incompatible with options "Driving Assistant" (code 5AS) and "Speed Limit Info" (code 8TH).

Hi guys,

Would anyone be willing to share what you've agreed on price?

North Shore wouldn't budge and even worse, expected a $5k deposit.
