Thanks. I don’t need wireless CarPlay: I actually prefer wired CarPlay. Do I still need the executive pack for that? Or just for the backup camera?

Thanks! So executive package is required for both wireless CarPlay and backup camera? Or just backup camera?

Check out the build and pricing guide attached. In 2017 wireless car play was separate from exec package. I recently traded my 2017 LBB 6 speed with 13,000 miles to vroom for $45k. I didn’t want to deal with test drives and the other pieces of a private transaction for a possible few thousand dollars. |

For the 2018 LCI the backup camera became required in the U.S. so you do not need the executive package to have it. Also, Car Play was a standalone option that could be purchased later after delivery of the car through the Idrive but not sure if that’s still possible. I believe at the time it was $500 regardless if you ordered it with the car or installed/bought post delivery.
