What is this noise coming from rear??

New noise coming from the back of the car when braking. The video is reducing speed from 30 to 5 mph. As far as I can tell, it only makes the noise if brakes are applied. Could it be the diff? Can brakes make this noise?

Thanks, there were no rocks between the rotor and shield but I removed some between the shield and the knuckle. I noticed that with ebrake released, the shoes where slightly touching with the drum, so I adjusted it. I also removed the pads and reinstalled adding brake grease on the piston side. Noise is currently gone. Not sure what fixed it. Hopefully is not an intermittent issue.
