Those videos make the car look so damn wide and low. Talk about bulldog all over again, I love it! Seriously cannot wait for this car. In Inka Orange please.

DAT ASS...im in love with that car the wider fenders look so good with a quad exhaust and a more aggresive front bumper would look better. I'm really crossing my fingers for a 6 speed manual transmission but I'm confident that BMW is going to make it theyre still making it for the m3, m4 even m5 and m6 so i don't think/hope this is the exception...also looking forward for a better color section...valencia orange, racing green, imperial blue, silverstone etc... and different interior something in cloth like the european version or some recaro seats!

Wow that looks impressive already. Best M in cameo I've seen in a while. This is going to look fantastic in full M uniform.

If they put the right motor in this thing this will be the M car to covet. IMHO

So if the M235i is already "better" than the 1M from a performance standpoint, the M2 should be bonkers.
I have a feeling this will be the car they decide to mess with and not offer a manual transmission for... It doesn't bear on their bottom line as much as the other M cars, and will most likely be the most performance oriented out of them all as well which leave the door open to make the whole "DCT is faster" argument. Not that i care, i'd gladly buy with DCT but i just have this strange feeling in my gut they will do something radical with this one. Theres clearly an opportunity. |

I want to really like it and not order a M3 but I can't see how BMW won't make this perform well below the new M3/4 Or at least make it less like a historical M car than the M3/4 have become. Interior, motor, later gen diff, fixed calipers, etc. pessimism aside I hope I'm wrong and they let lose.

Perhaps they've concluded that the rest of the world is correct: a tune on a non-M engine is NOT an "M Power" engine?

Well, you can forget all that. The new car is fitted with a turbocharged straight six. Turbocharging? In an M car? That’s like putting gravy on an ice cream. - Jeremy Clarkson, discussing the S65 and then S55 M3 engines. |

If it looks like this minus the crappy 235i wheels, and with CF roof ill be happy.

Reviewing the video there looks to be very little body roll in the corners.

It'd been interesting if they showed the testing 2015 C Class at 0:57 as well...

I have hundreds of pictures of the M4 on my computer and dozens of "builds" on BMW.com, but the more I see of the M2, the more I think that is more of what I really want. I LOVE the look of the M3/M4 but I have an F30, and I've never gotten used to how big it is. The M4 is the same size as my car, which means it's also too big. I hope the M2 is as awesome as the M4, just in a lighter, E36/E46 sized package. |
