Sorry for the delay in responding, I've not been around much over the holiday period. I hate cleaning wheels but my wheel cleaner of choice is P21S Wheel Cleaner, the regular kind, not the gel (I'm sure the gel is good too but it's for baked on dust and that's never my situation).

Car has been put away for the winter but when it comes out to play in the spring, I'm going to ceramic coat the wheels or maybe replace them with wheels which are easier to clean.

P21S has great reviews. I plan to buy some. BMW's M-Performance wheels are a great option; that's what I and many others here did.

Beautiful day in the DC area.

Took it for a spirited drive,
cleaned it up and put it to bed.

FINALLY got around to doing the LCI taillight retrofit. And my my my, I didn't think I would like the tails THIS much. Went with the euro tails, cuz amber turn signals > red turn signals.
Went the whole nine, got LED reverse bulbs and also blacked out rear reflector with a set of blackline tinted overlays, courtesy of R0ME0.

The install was quite smooth, one of the easiest mods I've done, thanks to the people in this DIY thread:

Yes, former 'ugly white cabinet in garage" transformed with chalkboard paint and chalk. "BMW Motorsport" is vinyl.

Installed an E90 Clutch Slave Cylinder (Part# 21526785964) to delete the CDV. It's plug and play and doesn't require any modification so I decided that was a better route to go (rather than drilling out the stock restrictor). I definitely feel a big difference in clutch engagement. Not only is it beneficial when slamming gears quickly but it also makes slow shifts in traffic feel much smoother and less jerky. Big thanks to Poochie for sharing the thread that led me to do the mod.

Thanks bro, glad you like it!

As I mentioned before, I'm looking forward to this mod but I'm now hearing conflicting information on it's benefits.

A rebuttal would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like his wasn't bled properly. Mine felt a little softer than normal right after the install but after a few pumps it felt firm again. Went for a drive and all feels normal. Definitely a big improvement and a worthwhile purchase/mod.

My dog decided to use one my keys as a toy, so i made myself a better one.

Shutout to @Zermatt & @knightarmor for there work on the F80 forums on figuring out the correct key to do this mod with.

Swapped over the 28 pin NXP chip which has the vehicle data over to the new key, works great.

Great YouTube video @

Do you mean Adams Polishes?

https://adamspolishes.com/collection...SAAEgLHQfD_BwE

You like?

Would you recommend?

Looking for a good polish for a "full-time" outdoor car.

TIA--
