Any solutions for protecting the naked carbon trim?

Hello everyone,

Subject says it all pretty much. Due to the material being a naked fiber I'm a bit unsure on the steps to take to protect/coat it with either ceramic or graphene etc. Maybe it doesn't even need anything

What have you done for your trim?

Thank you!

The only thing I can think of are the weaves stretching or breaking from people constantly rubbing on them, from the sun, contact with liquids, etc. It's a bit new so research is limited in longevity, but I'm just making predictions. For example alcantara is a fabric as well and that is extremely sensitive to pretty much anything lol

But they're such low traffic areas?

I often think what would it look like to ceramic coat the CF, would it look like a halfway house between dry and gloss and would that look good?

It's not reversible once you do it though as far as I can see.
