Looks like a few more of these "heavy turds" finished up production....of course they stopped one short of my VIN. Guess it was time for a beer break in Leipzig!

my is scheduled for next week, which is week 32

my vin is just under 30 above 9195

VIN#'s are past 9250 now.

My VIN just went active on BMWVIN.com, and simultaneously the BMWUSA tracker updated to entering the line.

So maybe the VIN reactivates on BMWVIN.com when assembly actually begins.

My VIN isn't showing up on BMWVIN yet anyways. There is delay in updating their site, or BMW hasnt pushed data out. Who knows.

How are you guys getting your vin so early? My dealer emailed me and said car is scheduled for week 33 production and status switched to 112, but I still don't have a vin number

When your car goes status 150 (not before), a VIN is generated. Got my VIN a few days ago.

My car was also week 33.

I'm supposed to be week 33. I was just given a VIN today when production status changed to 150. According to the above posts the current production VIN is 195. There are over 70 cars in front of mine at that rate.

Given that your production week is supposed to be the week that the car finishes, I'd say you should be seeing some action within the week.
Edit: I just checked the VIN decoder, 185-195 so 11 M2Cs were built today. I wish I could go there and see them on the line. Maybe I'll tour the Leipzig plant in September.

Just a side note regarding VIN#'s.

VIN#'s aren't available online (3rd party lookup sites) until the car is completed.
