I'm between 6'1 & 6'2, 227 lbs, fits me like a glove. I never even had the seat all the way back and I'm long legged for my height.

Convinced my friend to get one. Finally arrived last week and yesterday I helped him finish the 1200 mile break-in 😎

They have been re-painted Ferric Grey II B55 with a Satin Finish over the usual gloss clear. I have noticed however the satin finish makes it seem a tad lighter than the gloss.

I think they are perfect but I could probably do a slightly tinted clear coat.

Are those the black or the bi-color wheels? I can never tell.

Haha yeah. The foreground car has the black wheels and the background car has dirty bicolor wheels.

I agree it can become difficult to tell with dirty wheels.

I've put 650 miles on the M2 in the first week. This car, y'all…I can't get over how good it is. I've never experienced anything like it. Break in service is scheduled for next Monday, so I've got a lot more driving to do! This was from the Tail of the Dragon on Sunday. I'm heading back this coming Saturday if any of y'all live nearby and want to meet up for a drive!

Way to pile up those miles! Biggest surprise so far?

Biggest surprise so far is just how smooth and linear the power delivery is. I'm coming from a GTI, and Focus ST before that, so I'm used to turbo lag and torque steer (mostly in the ST), but this car just goes the minute you put your foot down. The turn-in is amazing, too.

At the dragon I kept it in 3rd gear for most corners while I'm breaking in the engine, so I don't risk surpassing 5500 rpm accelerating in 2nd, but it still kept with and pulled away from just about everyone.

And while this might not necessarily be a surprise, I love having people come up to me and talk about the car. The community is my favorite part of car ownership, and I love sharing that experience with fellow enthusiasts. I've always enjoyed talking to car owners, and it's fun being on the other side of that now.

I was on a drive after work yesterday, approaching a stop sign, and a mom was carrying her toddler out to their mailbox. The exhaust was burbling/cracking and I could see in my rear view that the kid was super excited, so I gave him a few revs at the stop sign. I hope that made his day, because it certainly made mine.

I love this car.

Great, thanks! I can't wait
Interesting point about the car community...based on me driving for a long time, I have been part of many forums (this forum but on the E9X platform, F8X platform, Rennlist, etc...) but I find the M2 forum to be the best one so far. So passionate, so helpful, just a great community.

Wish I was still in Atlanta, would love to take the M2 to the dragon.

If you find the Tail to be too short and refined, try the Back of the Dragon - 33 miles long and at least as demanding a drive. Since it is full on tourista season, I'd go early on a week day. https://www.backofthedragon.com/ Also a lot of other great roads in that area. I did a driving vacation down to Spartanburg and surrounds, PM me if you want more info (but being more local you may already know more than I was able to find).

Since we drive the same car I can’t be jealous of your ride....but I sure am envious that you live in the best place to go driving in the USA!! I love how your posts say “headed back to the dragon” like you’re grabbing some eggs and milk!! That has to be amazing living where you do. Enjoy and keep the pics coming!
