It’s worth mentioning here that comparing a FBO “stage 2” N55 M2 to an E9X M3 is a lot different than a stock OG M2.

In other words, I hope your ‘Pizza’ has a lil extra spice on it
Just intercooler, charge pipe, and a very mild tune for California gas.

I’m in the same market for a f87 or e9x

I think it depends what you want. Imo the e9x is raw, classic, and sounds amazing. It’s a timeless car.

M2c is fun as well and a better “daily” imo.

Based on my friends opinion as they have owned both, they would go for the e9x

I’m personally leaning towards the m2c as it better fit my needs

I think this is the move. I was gonna ask if there's a way you could have both.

As much as I love the F87 and believe it'll be a future classic, I suspect you'd regret selling the e90 m3 if you fast forwarded a decade.

Both cars if possible, but if I had to choose one I think it would be E9x.

OP, try and get a good test drive in an M2; it drives so different to your M3; the torque down low is going to feel like a rocket, but when on and going for it, you will really feel the M2 lack compared to the M3 above 5000rpm.

But at that point the M2 is already long gone 💨
