Nothing is too much! I went FBO, but skipped the tune and she definitely drives better than stock. I know I'm not be getting the most out of my mods, but my goal is longevity. Not many other cars out there that make me smile every time I start her up. So I'm going to take this one to my grave if I can.
Plus I'm finding that as I get older, I am getting more and more lazy when it comes to data logging and monitoring logs every time I change gas stations, or finding an e85 station to hit that e30 mix. Performance mods include: 300 cell HJS downpipe MST turbo inlet v2 Turbosmart plumb back Wagner Evo 1 ER charge pipe AFE Pro Dry drop in filter Last edited by Altra; 05-11-2022 at 11:19 AM.. |

This isn’t a ‘93 RX-7 with 1993 engine management tech and a manual boost controller added.
If you’re running the factory tune, logging isn’t needed. You’re… running the factory tune. Last edited by ///393; 05-11-2022 at 01:02 PM.. |

Haven't data logged yet, since I'm still on stock tune. I feel like I should for peace of mind, but haven't gotten around to it. |

Running a catless DP and Wagner Evo 2 on track. Despite other posts, I notice a significant increase in top end without the cat and my GPS speeds show a similar story. I just ignore the CEL.
Doesn't appear to run lean but I don't feel the need to check. Never once misfired on track |

Quite glad I’ve seen other people running without a map/tune.
I’ve got fitted: Wagner evo1 Fabspeed Sports cat Evolution Race Works Black Alumimium Hard Piping (hot and cold side + turbo pipe). Pure Turbos Inlet Pipe ITG Panel Air Filter I’ve never data logged as such quite interested in it and possible getting BM3. It’s def not as a big in the uk as it is in the US. |

I can't imagine my M2 with a proper sport-cat fitted vs the current stock cat Check out "Ecutek" they're one of the best for tuning

So maybe I’ll make more effort and get one. In the mean time I’ll get a new pannel filter better safe than sorry. Got a few trackdays coming up including Nurburgring so want no hiccups |

I'd recommend either the OEM filter or the AEM dry-flow as it seems to also work very well. A good buddy of mine was a filtration engineer. He always stands by OEM |
