Check Engine Light on after BimmerCode

I just coded my car for the second time with bimmercode, but this time after i finished a warning came on with the check engine light saying i need to change my oil in 7000 miles. It wasnt on before this. Ive tried turning the car off and on a few times but the little light still pops up in my dash and in my notifications it says i need to change the oil in 7000 miles.

Anybody experienced anything like this or have suggestions?

Is it there consistently or only on start up?

Other option is to cycle the car. Leave it overnight, or unplug the battery after 15 minutes idle with the key far away, and follow the unplug procedure. Then reconnect. You'll lose all your iDrive settings but that will reset the DME.

Check engine light is gone now. But still have the notification in the touch screen display that says i need to change the oil 04/19 and in 7000 miles. Obviously this is off and i don't know how to fix it.

My X5 did the exact same thing after doing some small coding and now is throwing that same oil change thing. Did it go away for you?
