Many years ago I wanted to get into motorcycle riding. Although I was a manual transmission guy, I had never driven a motorcycle. I bought a bike and had the dealership deliver it to my house. I learned how to ride in my driveway and on local roads. The same concept applies to manual transmission cars. I recommend you buy a manual trans car and have it delivered to your home. Then you can learn at your own pace and you'll learn quickly.

Me too! It was a 1985 Honda Rebel (back in 1985). I loved how new it was. No internet back then so I had to visit several motorcyle shops for the extra accessories I never used.

My first was a Honda Hawk GT 650. Later on I moved up to a CBR600F2.
