Local Dinan m2 popped up today. Thoughts?

Thinking about pulling the trigger on this. Biggest concern is heat production as well as warranty (which I am sure is up/voided). Gonna go take a look tomorrow. Any advice/thoughts? Here's the description. It's a 2017, black, DCT, with 4500 miles, $54k. Dinantronics Performance Tuner Stage 4, Dinan Big Turbo, and Dinan Cold Air Intake System making 446 HP and 458 lb/ft of torque. Along with these engine upgrades the car is fully loaded with aerodynamic and suspension upgrades including, OEM BMW M4 Carbon Ceramic Brake System, Carbon Fiber Side Skirt Winglets, Carbon Fiber Rear Diffusor, Carbon Fiber Edison Adjustable , Rear GTS Wing, Dinan High Performance Adjustable Coil-Over, Dinan Rear Suspension Link Kit, M performance interior.

That's an absolutely killer deal.

Snap it while it's available.

Why the fuck not.

That does seem like a good deal. The only thing I wouldn't want is the wing, but that's just me.

Make sure that it has the Dinan inter cooler. Otherwise you probably will have an over heating problem.

Yeah that was my biggest concern. Thanks everyone. I'll try to see it tomorrow. Reliable enough for a couple years as a DD?

I would think so, but those Carbon Cermaic brakes are by no means cheap to keep up with when the time comes.

And noisy for driving every day. Besides the flashy looks, that's one option I wouldn't want.

Went and just saw it. Full stage 4 kit, with intercooler. Very clean obviously. Just need to verify the VIN with Dinan Monday. Under warranty until May 2021. Anything else o should check on? I see Dinan doesn't offer cold start recoding. Is that a possibility with another tuner without changing the Dinan tune? Just need to find someone to trade me trunks!

I was going to say if it's Dinan it should keep the warranty. Post some pics of the beast, sounds amazing.

It looks like it has MPE with CF tips as well. That's another big ticket item.

Just out of curiosity, what would everyone had put the value at if you were selling it?

Make sure to check the car proof to ensure there are no accidents. I don't know US prices and if it's a good deal or not but if it's too good to be true then it might actually be. So just do your due diligence.

Depends if all those m performance parts were port installed. See if they have the window sticker.

Mods aside, a 2017 with around 4000 miles on it should be upper 40s. If all the m performance bits were port installed and on the window sticker, it could be low 50s.

Its really up to you if all the mods are what you want. You can find an unmodded 2018 on the used market for quit a bit less than the 54k they have on it.

To put it into perspective, I paid about 49k for my 2018 6MT with 3600 miles on it back in September. It had the MPE, m performance pedals, and carbon rear diffuser installed on it.

Everything was port installed at time of purchase from the BMW dealer. He didn't take delivery until after the Dinan and M4 CCBs were installed.

Only thing that pops up on the autocheck is a 'corrected title' for the current lien.

If everything checks out and you can afford it, and it makes sense to you, the listed price isn't too bad. You may try to bring them closer to 50k if you can, but all those port installed parts add some value.
