I still hope they will move it a bit closer in a few weeks.
But I would not worry, maybe there are earlier allocations in your country.
It must feel great to finally get your order in.Your order is basically the exact same spec that I will be ordering for my M2.Hopefully my Canadian dealer will be getting some ordering info soon.

I've heard November or December, but it's just hearsay at this point...

Ugh...Laguna Seca Blue is the best! TO those who have seen both colors IRL...Is LBB kind of similar to LSB? Maybe a metallic verion of LSB? They look very similar when comparing this pic to the launch photos.

Was there a dealer mark up? Or did you get it at MSRP?

No,there was no mark up.

But there is still no super-hype here in Germany. The first magazines have reported about the new M2, so I can only recommend to get it as early as possible.

I think the US is one of the few countries where dealers sell over MSRP. All M2's I've heard about so far in Sweden have 8-12% discount.

Ordered yesterday so I could get registred in the production system and get a quota asap.
However I can still configure the car until 2016/01/01.

So ordered it with the following,

SBM(safirblack metallic)
DCT
M Drivers Package
Tint
Comfort Access
Foldable rear seats (gives you 40/20/40 split and armrests in the back, if you dont pick this option rear-seats have no armrest in the middle)
Lighting Package
H/K Speakers
Navi Pro
Sunroof
Electronic seat adjustment

any thoughts? as I said...I still have time to change and im not sure about some options such as the color...

I've been thinking about it for the past couple of weeks actually. If they had done an M2GC, I would have been much more interested. It's actually my reluctance to sell the E36 and E92, so adding a 3rd coupe just doesn't make much sense to me.

And I knew it was going to be a long shot, but I just wished it was slightly lighter than it is. Even if it's just 50 to 100 lbs.

I'm not sure adding $5k on top of an already more expensive car than I wanted to spend is a great idea.

But if i were to go big or go home, I'd pick between Fire Orange (unfortunately not available at the moment), Atlantis or Daytona Violet. Most likely I'll stick to Austin Yellow, or go Long Beach Blue should they decide to offer it as a standard color

they had a Fire Orange M4 at the BMW Ultimate Driving Event that was here in Dallas. it looked awesome.
Agree that Individual color isn't a great value when one is stretching their budget.

My guy just called back, said the order sheets for Canada are not yet available. He believes the production for North America will start in Jan/Feb...
Surprising that some of they guys in the thread don't have production dates until May??? Wondering (hoping) that N.A. is getting some special treatment.
