Wait, what are those tires? They look like ExtremeContact DWS06 which are all season tires. Did the dealership destroy the summer tires and put them on? Oh, it's CPO with 6k miles. Hmm... new tires at 6k... was this car ever registered in New Jersey?

Do not search if this makes you think negative thoughts =p.

Honestly, not sure about the tires at all (our past two Ms came with Michelins) - I know they only had the car a few weeks because the original owner traded it in for an 850i.

I don't understand the NJ reference?

If it was registered in NJ and has Continentals on it at a suspiciously low mileage it might be a BMW M school car.

Either way, it should not have come with those tires. That’s not what BMW puts on any car. Those are all seasons. I’d wonder why they are on there.

Nice garage, ours is similar except the F80 is my wife's car and the M2C is mine.

Got it - I don't think that was the case. We confirmed the original owner was from the Chicago area, and according to the SA, he thought the stock summers provided too harsh of a ride. The all-seasons supposedly "felt" better to him.

Sounds weird but as long as the car wasn't in a major accident or an M school car without you knowing then you're good

Having had LBB and now BSM, what color do you like best?

Hockenheim Silver?

I love them both to be honest - both suit the body of the F87, albeit in slightly different ways.
