Thanks! I'm not a fan of the 788s either and was seriously considering the satin/matte black 763s but couldn't stomach the price when all I really wanted was black wheels. I started seeing the all factory black wheels on the new G80 M3s and figured I'd give it a shot. IMHO, this is what BMW should have offered as a factory option. Thanks again!

Absolutely. It really takes the bling factor way down, which is what's needed on a wheel with so many spokes on such a sporty car.

This guy did his 666M's in Prismatic Crystal Grey, and it made all the difference IMO.

BBS Prep

Decided to do some tedious work and washed my BBS FiRs and put a coating of ceramic on them. I'm looking forward to seeing the CS when I replace the stock black wheels.

Exact setup I’m trying to order. But nobody has them in stock. Where did you order from and how long did it take?

I can see you got Pilot Super sports, but can't see the size. Also, what size are your wheels? Fitment looks fantastic.

The shop that did my other mods (AR Motorsports in Portland, OR) ordered them from the factory the first week of Feb., and they put them on at the end of April. They were the last thing that came in for the mods. I remember checking a couple of race websites a few weeks ago, and I thought one of them had them in stock. I have not purchased from either of these places. Good luck in the search! Things are definitely tough on the supply side these days.

THANKS. I am extremely happy with the way they cam out.

The tires are 255/35/19(f) and 275/35/19(r)
The wheels are 19x8.5(f)et35 w/10mm spacer and 19x9.5(r) et40 w/10mm spacer.

I know that the wheels are a little narrower but I love the look and I got a really good deal on them. I think that I am gonna run a 15mm spacer on the front, The guy I got the wheels from included them in the sale and said he had no rubbing issues.

I see now why they look so good. Yes, the spacers are great, but it's the sidewall. The PSS is wider than the PS4S in the same size, and with a skinnier wheel you're pushing that sidewall even more flat. Totally fantastic IMO.

Thanks. Definitely more grip the the OEM sizes that I was used to. That is a great chart to show the comparisons. Keeping that for my records.

I'm seriously thinking of switching my PS4S order to the non-Star-Spec PSS like you have just because it's a bit wider, and I'm in love with the sidewall, even though the PS4S is a vastly better tire.

I need professional help. lol

And I should have included the same sizes so the chart looked correct.

This is your PSS vs the same size PS4S.

LoL, we all need some kind of help.

Truthfully I wanted the PS4S's but they are just not available and I found the Super Sports (star spec) so I jumped on it because my tires were shot and I was sliding all over the place. But with you showing me these specs I am glad I went the way I did. Plus you are right, and not that is should make difference but the sidewall is better looking. And as far as it being a better tire, I agree, but I am not to hard on my tires and the PSS are just fine for me.

Ah, you got the Star Spec. Nice. Skinnier, but lighter!

Thanks I ended up order them through Kevin at EAS and already have a tracking number. What size tires are you running? Any spacers needed?

I am currently running 265/35-18 square for track use, and they said 275/35 would fit without issue. No spacers on this setup, but some might want them to flush the look a bit. They have almost the same poke as stock, but the top is sunken a bit with the added camber.
