Thanks! I'm not a fan of the 788s either and was seriously considering the satin/matte black 763s but couldn't stomach the price when all I really wanted was black wheels. I started seeing the all factory black wheels on the new G80 M3s and figured I'd give it a shot. IMHO, this is what BMW should have offered as a factory option. Thanks again!

This guy did his 666M's in Prismatic Crystal Grey, and it made all the difference IMO. https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1566358 |

Decided to do some tedious work and washed my BBS FiRs and put a coating of ceramic on them. I'm looking forward to seeing the CS when I replace the stock black wheels.

The tires are 255/35/19(f) and 275/35/19(r) The wheels are 19x8.5(f)et35 w/10mm spacer and 19x9.5(r) et40 w/10mm spacer. I know that the wheels are a little narrower but I love the look and I got a really good deal on them. I think that I am gonna run a 15mm spacer on the front, The guy I got the wheels from included them in the sale and said he had no rubbing issues.

I see now why they look so good. Yes, the spacers are great, but it's the sidewall. The PSS is wider than the PS4S in the same size, and with a skinnier wheel you're pushing that sidewall even more flat. Totally fantastic IMO.

Thanks. Definitely more grip the the OEM sizes that I was used to. That is a great chart to show the comparisons. Keeping that for my records.

Truthfully I wanted the PS4S's but they are just not available and I found the Super Sports (star spec) so I jumped on it because my tires were shot and I was sliding all over the place. But with you showing me these specs I am glad I went the way I did. Plus you are right, and not that is should make difference but the sidewall is better looking. And as far as it being a better tire, I agree, but I am not to hard on my tires and the PSS are just fine for me.

I am currently running 265/35-18 square for track use, and they said 275/35 would fit without issue. No spacers on this setup, but some might want them to flush the look a bit. They have almost the same poke as stock, but the top is sunken a bit with the added camber.
