This weekend I had the windows tinted (3M Crystalline 70% windshield, 40% all around), and spray-painted the muffler.

I think so! Some have had issues with fitment but these are the V2 which I believe fixed it. Nonetheless, fitment is great and matched the BMW carbon great. Half the price of BMW.

Where did you get the Performance matt?
Anybody know where I can find a plush matt? Think of a sheep skin... maybe not that long hair, but in that direction. I like to drive bare foot.

If you want plush, the Performance matt is not the one for you. It is hard plastic. I considered them but I decided to stick with plush carpet matts. You can buy the M Performance matts from online BMW parts shops.

Not mine but a fellow M2C client of ours installed a set of our V2 BLACKLINE Taillight Overlay Kit on their HS M2C. Really cleans up and makes the back end of the car much sleeker!

The problem with most plush matts, or at least most factory matts, is they look terrible within a month. The M-Performance matts may be plastic but they look great and still feel good. Of course, I would never think of driving barefoot

I have the M-performance mats. They are a much better quality than what I was expecting from the pictures. The plastic material feels dense and seem to not stain as bad as I was expecting. I think they are going to hold up well.

2. DME update packed with all modules soft update and you get a new steering software - the direction becomes soft and the car dances at high speeds.

I made the update and regret.

What a mess. He obviously shredded a tire and it slapped the car as it was disintegrating, but what kind of tire is that (with that inner tube on the wheel?).

I wouldn't necessarily say that, after all, that's what this model of vehicle is made for.. I just wouldn't do it in my car. Tires and bumpers can get expensive..

However, judging from the owner's Instagram, it looks like he got it like that - so more power to him.

RWD + Cheap tires = ton of fun

It's a Michelin SS tire, I could see the checkered flag logo..

He burned through the tires and inner cords ripped off the bumper.

I did this to a retired NYC taxi cab once.. Traffic had to stop for blocks because drivers couldn't see the road ahead, due to all the tire smoke.

Believe it or not, you really have to dog a tire before it gives away. I sustained a solid burnout for a good 10 mins before the tire innards were exposed. #Science #FieldExperiment
