M2 comp vs Audi S5
Currently driving my wife's S5. Decently quick car but she admits too that it feels a bit heavy and more of a GT. Dealers haven't let me test drive an M2, so not sure if anyone has experience with the M2 and and S5. I know not apples to apples comparison since i'd be ordering a comp, but just the general feel. Test drove a Cayman S 718 which i thought was very fun, and definitely felt way more chuckable than the S5. Didn't think the noise was nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be, but there was some lag down low. I get the sense that the M2 would be in between the two, as it still has a lot of weight compared to the Cayman. Not as concerned about raw power as I was more than satisfied with test driving a base 718, I just want something fun to drive on public roads.

I loved the sound of the engine, the super classy interior and the look( mine was calypso red) but i hated the understeer. Every times i tried to push the car in corners, the front was pushing so bad. Not even fast just prompt. So going and going i started to focus only on that. At the end i swapped with an ugly RS. In term of acceleration, the M2 is waaaaaay faster. But the S5 and its supercharged wine is great. Also you can feel the rear tires slipping in 1-2 if you disable the Traction Control. The front is sharp like a knife but the steering feel a bit elastic at first. Overall the M2 corner extremely fast and keep turning instead of understeering. Now the look of the m2 is gorgeous!!! With little money you can make a very fast car (stg2)
