Here's an update for you all.

Morning Courier (which left a week before Thalatta) is just about to go through the Panama Canal.

What I find interesting is that Thalatta is taking quite a different route to previous vessels, and is taking a path closer to how aircraft fly, which I believe is actually a shorter distance, even if the map doesn't make it look like it is. It would be interesting to see if Thalatta gets to Baltimore before Oregon Highway gets to Jacksonville.

I don't feel like going to look it up, but does Thalatta stop in Halifax? That could explain the different route...

My guess is the different route is weather related. Lots of action going on in the Atlantic. The route has actually delayed the scheduled Baltimore arrival from 10/7 to 10/8.

Thalatta is going straight to Baltimore.

Interesting... so the 1 day delay is due to this Atlantic weather. I thought it was because the Thalatta spent a full day dithering about in the sea before it moved into Bristol!

Anyone else on Horizon Highway? Tracker shows it still near Europe with a arrival date of 10/10 in Baltimore. I guess it goes to Brunswick after that. Doing PCD on 11/8 so they should have plenty of time to get it there. Can't wait.

Looks like it's taking the same route as Thalatta.

Thalatta can be tracked again on marinetraffic.com, since it is near land.

There’s a bunch more M2 VIN’s that came up on the WW website this morning.

Ends up my car is on Don Carlos headed to NYC via Sweden. I guess Syracuse is in the Northeast region for BMW deliveries.

By the way, my guess was right, Thalatta will get to Baltimore before Oregon Highway gets to Jacksonville... just.

I think that route up and over is quicker, because the world is round not flat, so the distances higher up are actually shorter than they appear.

Thalatta is in Baltimore, arrived early this morning local time. Due to leave for Brunswick after dropping off a few cars, perhaps some M2s. We'll know in a few days by checking the WWL website.

Oregon Highway is dithering around in the ocean near to Jacksonville for some reason...

Thanks for checking out, Nazil. I was wondering also why Oregon Highway didn't go into Jacksonville port and stayed a far offshore.

I guess it might have something to do with the "Spring tides", when the moon is full or new the high tides are very high and the low tides are very low. It was full moon just a couple of days ago. Oregon Highway is laden and probably low tides are just too low for her. K-line updated her schedule again, it looks like she won't go in until 10/9 and will arrive Galveston 10/12.

Suspect it might be at the terminal listed here:

From that info, looks like it would need to be at berth 8 or 9, or 13 (Those are the ones with RO/RO listed.)

Can't find webcams though.

Polaris Highway is also in the same port, can't remember if that had anybody's cars on it though.

Oregon Highway just completed unloading at Jacksonville and left the dock for Galveston!
