(I go about this with any car and not just the M2) If you have the financial ability, do it now.

It is crazy people are waiting to order to spec. If you look hard enough, you can find a dealer inventory for msrp. Again, I go back to my theory of life is too short. Enjoy the car as soon as you can!
Financials are the only reason I am waiting to purchase mine. I opted for Mid September PCD which to my calculations should allow me to square away my financials and get me DAS 2018 BMW M2!

As for what the "LCI" changes will be, I know what I'm hoping for, but no if are willing to wait 6 months - 1 year just to take delivery of this car, we can wait a couple more weeks for full details to pop up about the 18MY.

I admit that if they did look awesome to me, I'd consider a retrofit, but I just don't see any compelling changes (in the front or back). Maybe in real life there would be something more impressive?

Not quite sure if I like the new half circled lights. Seems unfinished. Need more pics to decide.

Mehhh. I think the headlights look complete as of now. The lci looks incomplete. It does provide a more aggressive shape but it looks to be cut off. Therefore, changes are negligible and balance out to be neither better nor worse.

As for the tailights, they look similar. Possibly worse to me. If it went more in the direction of how the 1M is outlined, then I would say it's better.

Even less so when you consider losing the $2500 fleet discount as just recently happened, apparently. That's like a ~3500 price increase for...well we don't know what quite yet.

Should have known haha. Same thing happens everytime LCI comes out. Everyone hates it at first (without seeing it in real life), and then everyone ends up upgrading at the end. I'm guilty of doing this on my E92
