Received my allocation today at dealer and ORDERED from BMW!!! ZERO options/white with the "free" stuff.

Live in bainbridge area, work in north Olmsted. Yes that would be cool. I know there is one on the west side already(MiiPilot) but looks like there will be a few more floating around soon.

I'm in the Cleveland Heights area. I have LBB with 6 speed and executive package. Was told by my SA I should have at the latest first or second week of November.

I was told 8 weeks from 9/14. Don't know the build week yet. I am LBB, manual, CarPlay, black grills. Didn't think I needed the exec pkg since it won't be my DD and will store it in winter.

I need to get the black grills. What did those run you? Would love the dinan exhaust also. I heard that when you get add ons those get put on at the port which could cause delays. Might want to check into that so that you don't get delayed anymore!

I think $400. Don't trust myself to buy them and put them in myself. I hear it's easy but don't want to deal with it.

Best thing to do is get your dealer to add your car to the order bank, as soon as allocation opens your car moves forward on its own.

Got a call from the CA with a build week.
Finalized the build, signed the invoice, gave them some money, and I hope it's good to go.

Mineral Grey, 6 MT, kidney grill, side vents, and pedals.

Been waiting a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time for this.

Sounds a lot like my build...well, sort of. MG, DCT, SS pedals, black kidneys, exec, CarPlay. Week 42.

Fantastic man. I think I remember reading your frustrations in another thread, so that's good to hear!

I'd like to do ED so the wait works out for me. I'd rather do a Spring/Summer Euro Delivery. I'm sure the alps are beautiful in the winter, but 369 lb-ft of toque on the back-end doesn't fair well in snow.

I'm #4 in the order bank at my dealership. There's some chance atleast 1 person ahead of me opts out. I'm hoping they get more allocations soon and that I'll be able to get my car by summer time.

Forgot to post in here. Placed order in February, got allocation and production number Tuesday September 13th, build week 41. I am one of 5 total to get production numbers out of winter park FL. Definitely seems like more than 98 cars coming to USA this round. (Forgive me if we have already debunked that myth). Hope everyone gets production numbers soon. Anyone doing PCD east coast?

I have a week 42 build and am hoping to do PCD if I can arrange it with my work schedule. Will also be driving back down to Florida.

Congrats on the allocation! That's a long wait. I'm week 40 and also planning to do PCD in SC.

Called the genius line and they said week 42 means a production start date around oct 9...yay!!

I called Customer relations and they told me week 43 and my estimated completion was the 17th. If you google week 43 it comes up as October24th-30th. Something isn't right here....I'll have to call again and find out. They also said estimated build week.

Never thought that my day would come! Also, very jealous of the few people on this thread over this past year that received their new baby.

Well...I am happy to announce that last Friday I got the best text from my CA in a long time. What was really awesome is that he helped me out while he was on vacation, so i really appreciated it! (Thank you Marlon Velazquez)
YES, I got my allocation from Petterson BMW out of Boise, ID. They got one allocation this go around and I was #1 on the list after the HEA car was taking during the last round of allocations.

What I did was a big gamble but it paid off. I wanted to pick up my new toy in Munich in December of 2016, so in January a few days after the Detroit show when they officially announced the M2 I marched on over there and put my $1,000 deposit down and gave them my 3 preferred pick-up dates. We all knew that this car was going to be hot, just not this hot! I waited until the last moment to book my flight but it was not looking good, until last week.
Today I went over and signed on the dotted line and got me Production number. I will do ED in the middle of December. Oh yeah, I even got my winter tires reserved as well. I feel like a little kid again, I swear.

Mine was in build for 13 days once production started. Did not match my build week either. Then another week for transport and boat loading for the performance center. Less than two weeks on the water but sat at port for a week. Just shy if 60 days from start of production to the performance center.
