How do you go about getting that email/screen shot on line? All I got was this crappy typed doc.

Nick
It was actually emailed to me by my CA. I'm not sure where to find it online. Sorry

I actually think that would be my preferred move at this point in time. It depends on what the LCI changes actually end up being. If they are only minor and cosmetic, I'll take the first one I can get. If they end up being more extensive (OLEDs would be huge!), I'd rather wait.

Ask your CA for a screenshot. That's the only way.

Still no allocation. I put my deposit down a year ago now. Any dealers out there with an allocation want to help me out? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just got my production number!! I actually got a call from two separate dealers, if anyone wants the other allocation (South Fl) here is the info they should do MSRP.

Do you know your place in line at your dealer? How many allocations have they received so far? What date does your agreement allow for you to recover your deposit if they don't fulfill your order? These are the questions you need to consider with that particular dealer.

I am now #3 on the list. My dealer received five allocations for Q3 and five more for Q4. Chances are very good that I will receive exciting news in December. Your particular dealer may get zero or one for the whole year, especially if they haven't been providing you with updates, so you may want to consider switching to a waiting list with a high volume dealership versus sitting idle on the list of the current one.

Let me know if you want contact info for my CA. "Non-refundable" $1,000 deposits (optional full refund if order not fulfilled after nine months) for a locked-in MSRP.

How does one determine who is a high volume dealer in their current geographical area short of calling all of them and asking?

This particular dealership is one of the ~30 Center of Excellence dealerships. That list is probably a good place to start. I imagine most, if not all, of the dealerships on that list are receiving their fair share of allocations, which I was told by my CA is capped at five per quarter (no idea whether that is actually true, but it's possible).

It's a pre-production MG DCT set to arrive in a month. Otherwise, no allocation but definitely nice guy.

It's only one small data point, but my instinct is if the same dealer who got 5 allocations this previous roll out now gets 5 again, the fall roll out nationwide may be in the same order of magnitude as the summer roll out was. Still not a ramp-up, by any means, but not a ramp-down either.
Yep, It does not appear that 97 is close to being correct. I'm on 3 different lists and between them they're receiving 9 for the next quarter. It's hard to believe that the 3 dealers I'm listed with could have almost 10% of all US allocations coming for this quarter.

I've also moved up exponentially on the lists. It appears that many potential buyers have dropped out, due to being on multiple lists and receiving an allocation.

Perhaps the logjam is beginning to break here. Long overdue. Time for us to start driving, instead of typing endlessly about driving someday!!

I wanted to send a shout out to @enMTW for alerting me to open allocations at his dealership. I live in Arizona and woke up at 6am to call BMW of Sterling on the east coast. They did in fact have multiple allocations up for grabs, I couldn't believe it. The manager told me they got 5 M2 allocations total and had no wait list (they are now sold out). I immediately jumped on one. Within hours I had a production number for a November build!!! It's been a long wait but I finally have one. I hope to get it by Christmas. Now I need to figure out the best and safest way to get it shipped coast to coast (hopefully won't cost me an arm and a leg).

I have the number 1 spot at my local dealer that I'm about to give up btw (they seem to get 1 allocation per cycle)

The freaking CA waited too long to send me my deposit paperwork and the other CA took that allocation

And the search continues....
