I felt the same way. That's why I tried reaching out two to three times a month to follow up. As of this afternoon after calling genius I am still at 112 status. I have a week 43 build so I'm hoping it finally starts production this week. My CA told me specifically I would have my car before thanksgiving. Not holding my breath since he is incompetent.

I'm week 43 too and still at 112 as of Friday. This wait was a lot easier when I didn't have a production number to track!

I hope to be on that same boat soon even though I must say the wait is more chill in 047 status. I hear people saying the anticipation gets worse as the car gets closer and closer to delivery!

Definitely. I'm week 43 as well and I'm forcing myself to not call Genius until Thursday for an update. I figure if I were to call early in the week there's a higher probability I'll be disappointed.

I've been on a very long wait list at BMW of Austin (~#90) since earlier this summer and wasn't planning on getting the M2 for at least '18-24 months' (their estimation). No worries, I still had my E90 M3 that I love, so I was happy to wait.

Just out of curiosity, I called around in September and found a dealership in Texas with no wait list but they weren't expecting an allocation till Q1 next year 'at the earliest'. Put my name down because, why not? 6 months is better than 18 months.

However, I didn't realize that I put my name down 2 days before Q4 allocations came out and the dealership I called got one with a week 43 build! They were pretty surprised too. So, I went from an 18 month wait, to 6 months, to 6 weeks, all within a span of 4 or 5 days.

And now I'm checking my progress online or calling the Genius every other day like a crazy person....

Yeah I can't help myself from checking the website multiple times a day and call once a day on weekdays too. It's insane and I can't help it!

And then there is me .... I'm afraid to call either CA that I have a $1k deposit with since I only joined the waiting lists in Aug (#6 and #8, so I was told). I'm a year away from driving an M2 so I will call them on my birthday in DEC and hope that I have moved up the list. If I don't move up a tick or two I'm screwed.

It's also important to note that the people in the order bank in production status still shows in the order bank. So if you are say #6 u could be be technically say #4 if the top 2 ppl already got their allocations.

What?! You lucky SOB! I'm week 43 and still sitting at status 112, like I have been for several weeks. You must be an early week 43 and I'm a late week 43, if there is such a thing.

How did you find out? Did you call the genius or get it from the My BMW site? My BMW still shows me at 112 but I've heard it can be a couple days behind. Maybe I'll call the genius in the AM.

Congrats man, that gives me hope that I'll be up soon.

My CA sent me an email with a screen shot of the dealer speed screen showing my 150 status. If you are truly week 43 I would bet money that you both for sure start production next week.

Just got off the phone with Genius. My Week 43 started production today and the planned EOP is Oct 28.

WHEW! It now finally feels like this car is real and eventually going to be built and delivered.

I just called and got the same thing. I'll bet we start on the same day. It'll be cool to compare VINs and see who started first and how close the cars are. That would be cool if they ran down the line one after the other!

Sadly no PCD for me.....I was told myself and my dealers other M2 allocation went into production same day so it may look like we both might take delivery same day. I wonder if he or she is on the forums....
