Bumping old thread... I'm thinking of buying a $3,000 Miata and dropping an LS3 (Corvette engine NA) in it. Coilovers, sway bars, bushings, 8.8 Ford Rear End, and T56 man trans.

Maybe 35k when it's all said and done... You have an absolute beast of a track car weighing less than 3000lbs with driver in it.

Aftermarket parts are found in abundance and the community is YYUUUGGGEEE. No ///M tax!
