Just Placed My Order

I've been long awaiting this day.

Just placed my order.

According to the estimated production date it will start Mid-April.

Yes I did DCT as I currently daily a Boxster that is a 5spd. And I have an e30 that is a 5spd.

Since the M2 will be my daily I just want to switch it up. Come the end of my lease I might buy a 6spd to keep.

Either way I'm very excited.

Your dealer has confirmed allocations? MSRP in Atlanta? Congrats!

Dealers around Atlanta don't tend to mark up MSRP. There are 5 within the city.

Agree. San Diego. Like I mentioned in a thread I started a few days ago. Dealers in CA are going to throw on market adjustment. And for the first several allocations, there will be someone willing to pay.

I'm scheduled for week 15 as well.

What it looks like is some dealers are choosing to sell the launch vehicle. After looking at BMW internal website for my dealer. Mine is the only allocation spot.

I'm very sorry to hear that.

It sucks because that puts the M2 at M3/M4 territory.

Once more allocation spots open up you can always order one from me! (Yes I am a CA)

The wait might bring down the market adjustment. And you can have it shipped to you. Or drive it back.

Maybe at your specific dealer socal? None of the norcal dealers are asking for mark up in my area at least.

I need to expand my search to NorCal. The problem is that they all have wait lists. So by the time a spot becomes available up north I'm guessing San Diego dealers will be down to msrp.

So.... I was just reading another thread..

Perhaps you should call some dealers in Cleveland ...

Then request performance delivery west ...

One would think Californians (and Floridians) would be a little more savvy....

Have you checked with Peter Pan? I'd be surprised.
