For the rest of us who are enjoying these places and thrills vicariously (for now), could you maybe instead drive 'Mosquito Ridge' (near Auburn, CA) and then continue to Yosemite National Park and get a pic of your car with Half Dome in the background?

And to our four-corners region (AZ, NM, UT, CO) USA members, might one of you be heading out to Monument Valley to get some wheel time and pics there?

I'm willing to reciprocate, but it will be a while (figuring Christmas-time) before we get our car home to Texas. However, come spring next year we'll gladly head out to get pics of the car among the famous (?) bluebonnets of the Hill Country -- assuming it ever rains here again.

What brand or kind of clear paint protection film are you using ?

And pics are great - I live in Oregon and it's been terribly smokey here as well, nice road trip though !

Thanks,
Merlin

Haha, thanks! Wish I had the time. I'll just have to Photoshop into one of my pics from Monument valley a few years back on the Ducati.

Thanks! Re: the film - sorry to say I haven't - but sure wish I had. Just the OEM film in front of the rear fenders.

Awesome. You are getting out there and seeing the sights. Good for you, and an inspiration for us to get out more and do the same.

Hey man, I'm thinking about maybe taking a drive up to the Sawtooth area in the next couple of weeks. Any roads that you could recommend hitting while I'm up there? I'll be coming from SLC, UT. Thanks!

Hwy 75 between Stanley and Challis - then on to Salmon on Hwy 93, is one of the best in the state. Really fun, especially on a weekday when there aren't many cars or RVs.
