Correct, except ones on the lot.

Correct, higher risk of no more allocations if wait too close to EOP.
The new generation M2 is not going into production until December 2022. The current generation M2 is in production until June 2021. A long ways wait for the next generation.

Jon Shafer over on Bimmerfest says he has been told that this year is the end of the M2C production and the final run will be all the M2CS.

I thought that people were already being told that they will have 2021 models for order soon? I wondered where he went.

Yes same for me! I was originally thinking later this year, but ended up with a 2020. I would have been really bummed if I couldn't have one

Wow I really hope that the 2020 model wasn't the last! Like yourself, I've been planning on a 2021 Euro delivery and with the new gen M2 being built in MX (I'm assuming) Euro delivery won't be available for it. That would be a big bummer.

There's a really good discussion on the M2C page about the 2021 model and the general consensus is that BMW most likely will continue as is and move forward with the 2021 model as the last year. But there's also a lot of good counter-points. Good discussion and all speculation to keep us un-board

Yeah, its a crapshoot at this point and we all only have opinions. No one knows what BMW will do, based on (yet unknown) future economic conditions
