Tire and Wheel Protection insurance

Any companies out there that sell tire and wheel protection/insurance direct to consumers? I just picked up a new M2 comp. Dealer wanted way too much money for the plan. But I would be glad to pay up to $1500 for it elsewhere.

Thanks in advanced

I was talked (conned?) into buying this by my dealer when purchasing an E92 M3. Never used it, of course. I'm amazed anyone actually wants it, honestly. You can make a lot of repairs for $1500.

And the biggest problem is the insurance doesn’t cover curb rash.

I drive around construction sites all day, so nails appear sometimes. When the framers open their vans or take anything out of their pockets, nails just seem to fly out.

If anyone knows of any companies that sell this plan to consumers, please let me know?

I have seen it posted before, just can't find it now.

Thanks

Yeah the "manager" who finalized my paper work insisted on me buying it, and it took me a good 20 minutes to get her to understand I didn't want it. I have a mobile wheel repair guy, and in my 9 years driving, I've only curbed one wheel, and it was a tiny spot in a drive through right after I got my license. Seems like a scam to me. You can buy a whole new set of MPSS's for that price.

They wouldn't offer it to you, if it didn't make them money.

You could just chance it. When you replace your tires get the tire shop road hazard protection for the tires.

Discount Tire will sell you tire coverage at a very reasonable price even if you didn't buy the tires there.
