Proper comparison.

Interestingly enough, Christian G did a 1:53.9 in a manual 718 GT4. Did look like the 718 here was sliding around quite a bit and do think it driven properly with PDK it’s capable of prob 1:53.0 or slightly below.

I'm surprised the Exige went so "slow"... I would've thought something so light, powerful and tracked-focused would steal the show. Strange!

He did a 1:54.8 in the CS as well. Day to conditions and how the driver feels makes a difference. Nice to see one under same conditions.

Manual box would be a contributing factor I think.

It's track focused but not necessarily laptime focused. If you look at the historical results of the Elise and Exige they are never posting extremely good laptimes. Mostly down on power, although not this 410 version. I'm pretty sure I'd rather have the Exige on track, even if it is slower.
