M2 Comp doesn't engage to D, goes back to P after brake release
Hello,
I hope you can help me with an issue I have with my almost three years old M2 Comp. For about six months, and from time to time, when engaging D on the automatic DCT transmission, the car switches back to P once the brake pedal is released. This happens either in the morning or after a trip, and most of the time the solution is to restart the car. Currently the car in at the dealer, but strangely no one knows what happens. I have seen this sometimes happen on other F chassis when the car thinks the driver's door is open.
