Audiotec Fischer Match UP 7BMW Amplifier

I'm out of warranty by a hair and the stock amplifier started dying. My car already had, from a prior owner, upgraded underseat subwoofers powered by a JL XV200/2v2 fed with a line output converter on the stock sub output signals.

I replaced stock for stock with a used amp but that one was *also* dying. So I said screw it and, after a fair amount of research, bought the Match UP 7BMW.

If you care at all about audio quality it's a really good upgrade without pulling the speakers. I found a tune file for an F22 in a 2addicts thread that really cleared up everything (stock tune it feels loud, this tune it's not quite as loud but super clear at higher volume). My subs don't sound quite right but I'm not even sure what models they are so would need to figure that out to tune them.

For anyone looking, I used the simoneves tune halfway down the first page

I bought my Match Amp off of eBay, cheapest I could find, there may be a better place to source it.

Biggest irony: I mostly listen to podcasts...

Does it have to be swapped back to stock to go to the dealer for service?
I read that it won't allow their scan tool to read correctly.

Only when they're working on that ECU is my understanding. So unless you're having them do something specific to that system it wont matter. It's not like it bricks their scan tool.
