I'm guessing this isn't wind tunnel tested and is for cosmetics only.

Same. I'm checking this thread multiple times per day.

All I know is he said hopes to get molds finished before Christmas and lips delivered in January. Not sure if that delivery estimate is for UK though.

There is/was a guy selling a used Edison GP lip in the classifieds, like pictured in the OP, but I passed on it partly because Jack said this lip is close.

So pretty much 99% of aero mods available... Hardly anyone buys lips and different style spoilers for downforce.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and new year.

Please accept my apologies for the delay but we have finished our design and are now producing the first sample. Please note that this is a rough sample and will be used to confirm fitment - the final product will be a TRE level of quality.

Let me know your thoughts 😊

Also! If you are interested. Please email me now at Jack@autoid.uk.com so I can begin to compile a waiting list.

I'm hoping the winglets will get evened out. Looks like they curve in towards the bumper too much especially on the right side in the image.

Other than that I'm liking it

I think that's just the angle of the photo, they obviously wouldn't make them sit unevenly (one would hope lol)

Even then I still think it's curving too much and not running "parallel" to the curve of the bumper. on both sides it seems to curve too sharply resulting in the gap at the top of the winglet being too small.

I did a quick glance of the M2C official lip and it follows the bumper curves precisely like an extension.

It could just be a rough prototype in the AutoID pic though. Hopefully

See attached pic for the M2C lip

Damn. Those work conditions... so drab.

I'll pay a bit extra so you can paint the walls a nice color, get a couch and flat screen, and some potted plants.

This one is gonna be so much better than the Edison version too. I love how the front of it is a smooth transition. Unlike the Edison that drops off then protrudes out.

Jack, seriously thank you for putting this together for us.

Thanks for the feedback on the lip guys. We're gonna amend the lip to the winglets are more parallel.

We actually used the M2C lip as a base but it appears the M2C lip has more contour to it than the OG.

Our offices are much much nicer!

The prototyping garage is just a small work station. No need for it to be too fancy.

I didn't really understand what was meant by the curvature of the winglet, but I think I understand now. You want the distance of the top of the winglet to be equal to the distance of the bottom of the winglet. Like this?

Ah. That's what I want too. Even though at first I was thinking how the MP rear winglets are vertical so they won't match each other. I'd rather have them angled like the MP front winglets, because the car really looks a ton better like that.

Maybe Jack can respond to confirm he understands.
