Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think it's THAT bad... Yeah, the burbles might be a bit over the top now, but he can dial them back even, seeing he has a tune. Or pick Sport setting.

He just did a new video outside it looks like:

Hello,
I am new to the forum!

Here I explain my case, I have a m2c with this famous filter OPF ... so I ordered at AR Design the catted coatted ceramic I received this week and I made them installed by a friend, but surprise there is on each oem downpipes 1 rod that captures a pressure thing that there is not on the AR Design Catted ...
so I decided not to plug them in and condemned them with a cap.

Then come test phase of the car, I roll it I feel a different behavior. I accelerate and I get a powertrain fault that asks me that I continued to drive but without its maximum power. I put out the car and I restart and the most no defects, I go back to test and then I accelerate another time in a straight line and the defect is back ...

I do not know if this fault comes because of the sensor that I close with cap or the Catted that poses a problem with OPF ...

if anyone can enlighten me about it...
Thanks !

ps : Here is photo of OEM Downpipes and AR Design Catted .

Hi. Yes without post CAT bleed line the OPF pressure monitor will not work so you will get fault code / limp.

I think you have made an error replacing DPs still with OPF fitted.

OPF is much bigger restriction than DP cats for power and sound.

Much better to remove OPF first and remap to stop fault codes.

Hi, Thank you for your reply

the problem is that i do not want to lose the guarantee when i go to BMW when he will plug it in and put it on blacklist if he sees that there was a remap...

And I ordered my exhaust to OPF from lightweight so I do not know if I cancel the order and I take a full exhaust, but if I take a complete exhaust I must necessarily remap.

Get the exhaust, the OPF delete without ECU tune solution is on its way. I have seen the first prototype.

Just give it a few weeks and you can buy a solution that allows you not to tune your car, but still run it without OPFs.

Thank you for your reply

if I take the complete version without OPF, I could install it anyway until the solution arrives ...?(even if i have an engine warning)

Damn.. why does the S55 have to sound so shitty. Nothing you do to these exhausts make it sound as it should. By that I mean not 🤬 Ricey.

If you worry about BMW then better to put standard DPs back on to get rid of faults. You will have no power increase from the new DPs anway.

Then get leightweight OPF back. All good no problems with BMW service to worry about.
