Do any of these work for you?

https://kilter.com/search?line=2+Ser...185-include.12

I think one of the cars in Alexandria is no longer available because it isn't listed on their site. But the other three cars (Alexandria, Mobile, and Grapevine) are showing on the dealers' sites. The one in Mobile is the only one with the M Driver's Package, so if that is what you meant by "fully optioned out," then that's your only choice at present, I believe. Here's the search I did:
  • 2020 or 2021
  • M2 Competition
  • Long Beach Blue Metallic
  • Executive Package
  • Moonroof
  • DCT

I didn't make selections for interior (two options), wheels (two options), or interior trim (two options) and I didn't require the M Driver's Package. You should be able to update the search and re-run it if I missed something you wanted. You can also exclude any of the options if there's something you for sure *don't* want (moonroof, for example). FYI, this search should cover 100% of new BMW inventory nationwide, but there's up to a day lag. Cheers.

Edit: I know you said DC area but I searched everywhere. If you don't get a match based on your ideal configuration and geography, your choices are: (1) keep checking back to see if something comes up, (2) search a broader geography (i.e. nationwide), (3) be a little more flexible with your search; I usually recommend thinking about "must-haves" (i.e. Long Beach Blue and DCT), "can't-haves" (you didn't specify any, but moonroof could go here for some people) and "nice-to-haves" (you didn't specify, but maybe carbon fiber trim, bi-color wheels, and blue interior stitching would be your perfect spec but you're willing to be flexible to get something now or to get a better price); you should only be flexible with your "nice-to-haves," and (4) placing an order with your preferred dealer. Personally, I'd go with option 4 unless you don't mind traveling a further distance to get exactly what you want. Definitely don't be flexible when it comes to your "must haves" and "can't haves"; you'll probably end up regretting it, even if only a little.

With 10% discount, 0 down, no sales tax (woo hoo), my quote is just under $700/mo. Can save another $40ish with MSD's. Doesn't seem that bad if you want a fun car that you know you'll want to upgrade in 3 years but still want to throw something around right now despite its now aging look, especially inside.

I mean, its no 3 series lease, but its better than throwing a shit ton down and buying it and then likely selling at a loss to get something in 3 years.

But an M2C will depreciate nowhere close to the residual in 3 years. You will hands down come out thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars ahead if you buy it and then sell it in three years.

Wow, that is crazy low. I got my lease down to $819 including using MSDs, however, I folded everything into the payment. This included doc fees, lease acquisition, tax (thank you NJR for over 6% in taxes). I got about 8.5% off, not 10% too.

We've reached a historic day. 2021 M2C is finally down to 0.9% APR (same as any leftover 2020s). Too bad I signed back in November :/.

APR dropped from 1.9% to 0.9%. I'd call that a change.

Hey guys. I have a 2018 230i and would like to upgrade to an M2C. How would you suggest approaching dealers to get the best value between cost of the M2 and trade-in value? How would tailor the message for outreach rather than just approaching based on OTD pricing or % discount from MSRP.

Looking for BSM and 6speed. Everything else is flexible. Also open to either paying cash or financing based on what will allow for the best deal.

Really appreciate all of the great content in this thread. This is my first M car and am very excited about it.

I found an M2 CS $88K window. 0 markup. Decided to buy since least was terrible. $5K down, 1.9%, 5 years, $1800 a month. Also purchased wheel and tire warranty since the car came with Cup2 and 6 year 100K warranty so I don't have to deal with service and maintenance.

Lease was something like 3 years 12K miles around $1700.00 month.

#1 thing is to treat the trade in as a completely separate transaction. Do not even mention the trade in until after you have negotiated and finalized the selling price for the M2C.

Financing is now 0.9% and you're not going to do any better than that. Even if you have the cash for the car, you'd be pretty foolish to not take 0.9% APR and put that cash in the stock market.

Not sure if you're talking about an already signed deal or not but the 2021 M2C APR just came down from 1.9% to 0.9% as of Jan 5th.

I appreciated the info from this thread and it helped in my purchase. The closest dealership never marks up, but they also were telling me there was no way (no interest) in getting an allocation anytime soon and no way they were going to consider any discount. Next closest was happy to work with me. I asked for 5 or 6% and they checked and offered me 3. I wanted to work with somebody local for the warranty work, so that was good enough for me. I was intending a new order, but they were able to find one on the ground with everything except the MDriver pkg, so I decided to skip the anxiety of whether production would arrive before track season. Shipped covered to them for free (to me) and in my garage less than 2 wks from starting it all, probably less than 2 hours at the dealership in total. I'm sort of in shock now = was thinking I'd have all winter until it arrived to get prepared. Thanks to all those posting beforehand for the info; without it I would have assumed these were going for list or better, and just been happy with those spiffy floor mats they threw in.

Thanks again. Was able to get 7% off MSRP and good value for my trade in.
