I know which post you're referring to, I believe they said something about the PA4s having more square vs. rounded "shoulders" vs. the PSS.
Three days ago I just mounted and installed stock size Michelin PA4s (245/35 Front, 265/35 Rear) on the stock 788Ms (9x19 Front and 10x19 Rear) and have not noticed any issues with rubbing even at full lock. Suspension is stock as well. |

Can confirm as well, no issues with 245/35-19 and 265/35-19 with the PA4 on 788m wheels and stock suspension. Excited to drive my car all year round!

For those of you looking to run the 641M's. This is how much clearance you will get if you have the Big Brake Kit.

Anyone running a 255/35/19 Square setup on the R163A wheels?
Found this online at a shop and sounds like they will work, but lots of mixed sizing on the site. Hoping for some help and clarification. I'd likely mount a different tire, PA4 or Hakka 8 or something along those lines. https://overdriveautotuning.com/blog...winter-package 19x8.5 +20 5x120 Bolt Pattern Gloss Silver 28.6 lbs per wheel 255/35R19 Nexen Winguard Sport 2 96V XL |

Thank you M2CMTL,
The link says they don't rub so I am thinking it could be very close depending on the tire selection. Based on rim/tire calculators with the above setup it seems like the tire will stick out an extra 13mm. I am thinking I need to reduce to a 245 or 235 setup if its that close. Just trying to find alternatives to factory winter kit. $4600 for the set. |

I have these wheels: https://www.super-speed.ca/post/rf05...-fitment-guide But I don't think they have a US supplier for some reason. Paid 3k CAD for the set with Pirelli tires. (2.4k ish USD)

rims are 19x9.5 +25. Running 245/35/19 Pirelli Sottozeros. Tires are too narrow for the rims so the rims poke out a little. Honnestly going back in time I would probably go with the 255s to avoid the poke and modify the fenders to deal with the rub if it's that bad. Don't really like the Pirrelis either. I drove 3-4k miles on them and they are half done in the back.
edit: just noticed you are in Canada. I actually got them in Ontario from wheelsco.ca

That is very helpful, will continue the search. M2C should be coming in June or July so once I have the sizing figured out I'll keep an eye out on pre owned sets.

My 2 cents...
winter wheels stink. And they'll still set you back a decent chunk of change. get new summer wheels - something nice (3-4k) and swap out your tires onto them. Then, put winter tires / all seasons on the stock OEM wheels. you spend a bit more, but you at least get a "wow" factor in the summer and a nice wheel for the winter. |

Use the stock as winters, splurge on nice summers and just sell used when you're done to recoup some of the cost.

Ya, waiting to see the vehicle in person - still waiting on delivery - tentative first half of June right now. Working on unloading 1er and parts for it at this point in time. Limited on space.

Has anyone had experience with the continental dws 06 plus? I’m looking to run that tire on my stock 788 wheels for my M2C. I’m a bit paranoid after reading this thread and want to confirm there are no rubbing issues with all seasons and stock sizing.
