Do you clean the inside caps of your wheels?
Hi guys,
I had to get my tyre repaired the other day and when they took the tyre out i was surprised how much crap was inside. Do you guys ever clean this area? Sorry not sure what or how to describe it but pic below - |

Wire wheel on a drill or just a wire brush. There's some coating product you can get that reduces the amount of corrosion on them. Don't recall what it was called.

I've seen guys use permatex antisieze after cleaning them up. I think that's meant to stop corrosion and prevent spacers binding.

I've never had a need to clean the hubs in Australia, but when I lived in the UK and Europe, I would use a wire brush and coat with a thin layer of copper antiseze every time I changed from summer to winter wheels/tyres.
