For those who like linear springs. I installed M4(F82) swift Spec R lowering springs. No modification. Plug and play.

I am a huge fan of swift product. My multiple F8X had great road and hard core track character. 2:10 at the Glen with just Swift Toyo and Pagid.

Ride quality is just like any M3/4

If you need to ask how hard they ride it’s not for you.

The car stands nice.
What is the drop? Is your front bumper scratching more? Are they helping with body roll? Are you running factory tire sizes?

Mine is lowered maybe 1/2" more than his and I've not come close to scraping once, so I doubt his scrapes.

I have TC Kline camber plates that raises the front around 1/2 inches, I still scrape downhill. It could be body roll or dip.

You're 1/2" higher than OEM height and scrape? Am I understanding correctly?

This is the first time I'm seeing Swifts sitting higher than Eibachs.

My M2c sits lower on eibachs though it does ride pretty close to stock. Not sure how it's going to handle the winter with very little ground clearance.

I ran the swifts on my E92 but the shocks gave out within 1.5 years. Loved the linear springs otherwise.

Ride is still as expected. NYC roads and winter with no issues. The springs have settled and look even better. Handling perspective is on point. From my butt dyno the spring rate is matched perfect.

Had a busy weekend of installing the Swift-R M4 springs with Vorshlag camber plates.. also did the M Performance splitter/diffuser/spoiler!

I've only got a few miles on the car since I need to get it aligned but the ride height went straight to advertised heights, fitting to the perch rubbers etc was dead-on. Car is super flat now and only negative would be it's much stiffer driving through parking/neighborhood areas vs the OE springs are pretty good at this stuff. Once you get going it feels planted! Once it's aligned I'm sure I'll be to the track to see how it compares to my initial run when it was completely stock. I think these springs have carried a negative stigma from the M3/4 boards due to them not working well with the adaptive suspension. Not a problem on our cars.. they're a similar drop to H&R/Eibach but slightly more aggressive rates if you're planning on track duty.

Vorshlag camber plates are one of the nicest things I've ever bought for a car!
Fit/finish and the oversized bearings = the only choice!

Will definitely look into this option as this season progresses. Just picked up a 2018 LCI, but I’ve run Swift Spec-R springs on 2 previous platforms and have nothing but good things to say! Thanks 190hpkilla for a nice, brief review. Hopefully I’ll see you on track this year at LRP or NJMP!

For now, I’ll focus on learning the car beneath me.. Super tempting though!

How would you say the compliance is with stock shocks? Do you feel like you’re launching in the air on bumps or feel like the car is a vibrating chair when going over rough roads? The Swift Spec-R will be stiffer than than the brands you mentioned and linear rate.

Gotcha, I'm interested in which lowering spring will make my stock dampers last longer. I came from MPHAS for my F80 M3.
