Went with one of the APEX recommended tire setup: 255&275/35 Michelin PS4s.

Needed spacers to clear my Bilstein Clubsport coilovers.

Rear has a 12mm spacer and front currently has 12mm too but is rubbing on the inner fender. Ordered a set of 5mm with guidance from APEX support and that's on its way.

APEX has been great. Shipped next day (expedited) and the support has been quick.

Gorgeous rims and the color/finish is perfect!

Thanks all!

The wheels are:
19x9.5 ET28
19x10.5 ET45

And would be a perfect fit without spacers except it didn't clear my adj. coilovers

Here's a few more pics in proper lighting. The finish is really nice and appears slightly different from different angles. The concave-ness is perfect.

Agreed I bought 9.5 et22 and 10.5 ET45, I might increase the rear spacer sizer to 7.5 or 10mm. I use a Turner Hub centric spacer. Amazed you can run ET33 on the rear with 275's

WOW! I think I have finally found the wheels for my black M2C. Can you share the fitment details please so I can get mine ordered

I have M-Performance Coilovers and -3 camber front so will check with Apex what sizes I need for clearance.

The wheels are 19x9.5 ET28 and 19x10.5 ET45

Currently, 12mm spacers front/back but changing the front to 5mm as the tire is rubbing.

None that I've heard or noticed yet. Coilovers are Bilstein Clubsports set relatively soft. Tires are thinner at 275, could be a different story with 285+.

According to APEX support, 5mm should be enough of a spacer to clear the aftermarket suspension and I imagine it's the same on the rear. The 12mm spacers are what I had on hand at the time; it would be smart to go a bit less especially if you have wider tires.

Wow! I went on vacation for a week and came back to these bronze beauties. Thanks for sharing all the photos!

Aftermarket coilovers can certainly reduce inner clearance up front around the front struts but they shouldn't change the clearances for the rear wheels at all.

APEX | 20" VS-5RS Sprint Line Forged Group Buy - Up to $500.00 off + free shipping*

Our First-Ever 20” Wheels Are Here!

The Design

VS-5RS

Our popular VS-5RS design is back and bigger than ever before. Our all-new 20” VS-5RS fitments are APEX’s first-ever foray into 20” diameter wheels and we couldn’t be more excited for their arrival. While we’ve historically focused on compact and efficient fitments that clear massive brakes with smaller wheel diameters, 20” wheels have become a necessity as the cars we support grow larger and more powerful with each successive generation.

We also recognize the massive contingent of our customer base and enthusiast community that appreciates the unmatched performance features and support APEX provides while preferring the aesthetics of larger diameter wheels. Careful optimization of these wheel designs by our engineering team has helped to minimize the weight penalty of a larger diameter wheel while our already stellar brake clearances have significantly improved. These new fitments cover a large range of BMW M chassis across multiple generations and bolt patterns with a few versatile fitments and represent the beginning of our 20” wheel lines. Help us and the Gang unlock the max discount by joining this Group Buy.

APEX 5x120 M Fitments:

Our popular F8X staggered fitment has been reborn. With a 20x9.5 ET22 front and 20x11 ET44 included in this Group Buy launch, F8X M3 and M4 customers have another great option available in offsets developed specifically for their chassis. Beyond the M3 and M4, motivated F87 M2 owners looking for an aggressive flush fitment need look no further.

The Details

Fitments

Dates:

This deal is now live and locks on October 27th, 2022 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. The wheels are currently scheduled to ship out at the end of December for all fitments. Visit GangUp.com for more information.

More Colors Than Ever Before:

In addition to an all new diameter, this Group Buy is our first forged Sprint Group Buy to offer 5 finishes at launch. Beyond our usual trio of Anthracite, Brushed Clear, and Satin Black we’re adding Satin Bronze and the all new Motorsport Gold to the lineup. We’ll soon have renders of Motorsport Gold to give you a better look, but we’re excited about this lighter gold option for a more subtle look.

Looks great! What are your camber settings? I also have clubsports and am looking at these wheels. Wanted to run 275 square but, looks like it may not be that easy.

Any plans to offer 19" VS-5RS in bronze for other widths besides 9.5/10.5 (i.e., 9/10)?

Yes and No, This is a great transition into a finish update for you all actually.

We are planning to expand the finish options of our other fitments. Satin Bronze and our new Motorsport Gold will be coming to various 18" and 19" BMW fitments along with being available on our new 20" wheels. You've all seen Satin Bronze above, but here is a render of Motorsport Gold:

In addition to that render, we also produced a video comparison for these new colors for our ongoing 20" Group Buy that you all may find useful to compare these finishes.

The 19x9 ET30 F and 19x10 ET40 R OE style fitment will be arriving in Motorsport Gold, but not Satin Bronze, at least not initially.

Let us know if you have questions about these colors and fitments!

Finally my wheels arrived (in the Netherlands).
Size:

2x APEX VS-5RS 19x9.5" ET28 satin black
2x APEX VS-5RS 19x10.5" ET45 satin black
2x MICHELIN CUP 2 265/30ZR19 (93Y) XL
2x MICHELIN CUP 2 295/30ZR19 (100Y) XL

It was really a throw on exercise, so no adjustment in height yet, hubcaps still to be mounted, final alignment to be done. Clearance on the front looks promising to be honest, ca 5mm between plane of wheel and adjustment nut of the MPE suspension (which is at factory settings). Seems we will get away without spacers, which is has my preference to be honest. Clearance at the rear quickly became sort of irrelevant, plenty as in 5+cm or so (to the shock)

Pretty happy already :-)

Front clearance, seems pretty ok

No idea why the tire looks dirty on the picture as it is brand new.

Hard to judge from this picture but there seems to be sufficient clearance seen from the top

Quick throw on

Car will be lowered another ca 1cm to get everything right and will do a proper shoot outside when the weather allows.

Just wanted to let you guys know it does seem to work with MPE suspension. Will keep an eye at the blue suspension collar irt the tire. The spring seems to be out of the equation and is sort of irrelevant to the clearance. Diamater of the shocktower + the support collar around it is, well, at least for the MPE it is, I could imagine a true coil over would need to be checked on sprint to tire clearance especially the sideways deflection of the spring under load, because that is what they tend to do.

I'm looking for advice on a set of 19" VS-5RS wheel. I like flushness so 9.5 front and 10.5 rear wheels seem like the best fit. My question is about offset on the front wheels. I have Ohlins R&T from 3DM Motorsport with swift springs and millway street camber plates. So I can work camber to help but I've heard the Ohlins have less inner clearance so do I go with 19x9.5 ET28 and run small spacers or do I buy the 19x9.5 ET22 without spacers?

I'd personally rather not run spacers if I don't have to so I'd go with et22.
