any break-in advice until 1200 miles. max rev range? alter speed as much as possible?

I believe the manual that comes with the car has advice on that. I think it's not more than 5.5k and vary the revs. But maybe it's only 5k, better take a look yourself.

Some people say you should drive it like you stole it to seat the rings. I couldn't say who's right.

How did you end up breaking it in? I think a combo method of nice and easy with some spirited drives with 4krpm is not a bad idea as well.

I attempted to follow the manual. I didn't vary the revs enough I think because I hadn't driven an auto via paddles at length before so I let the car handle it while I got used to the car. This was my first fun and expensive car so it was all new to me at the time.
