With everyone talking about the popularity / large numbers of HS M2Cs bought it's not all that relevant in every day life. If you like the colour then that's all that matters. Besides, how many other M2Cs is everyone seeing on the road apart from their own? Little to none I expect.

I have yet to see another M2c on the road and the only M2 I see on the road is always the same LBB owner. The flood of HS is only on the internet LOL

Yea, aside from a car meet, I've only seen 1 LBB M2 and 2 HS M2Cs in the wild...I think I saw 1 black M2C as well, but I'm not sure.

I see a crap ton of M3/M4s though.

Of course I was joking about all the HS. In reality, I have not seen one single M2 or M2C in my area at all. When I drive my LBB M2C, I get a lot of "what is that".

I like the detail with some having the carbon spoiler and some not. What about the carbon mirrors though?

Look at it this way. Most folks that have an M2/M2C rarely seem to see another one so there's some exclusivity regardless of the most popular or unpopular color one chooses.

Most of the masses probably just think it's a 2 series and someone decided to put an M badge on it to give it some street cred.

I also have only seen three 2 series coupes ever in LA...didn't see a single one when I lived in NYC.

Interesting that this is supposed to be the most popular M car ever. Popularity and rarity seem to go hand in hand with this car.

In Sacramento, I've only seen two OG M2s. One 2-3 years ago in black, and another last year in alpine white. No M2Cs at all.

Never been to Sacramento (only East Coast NJ/NYC/Boston/Miami) but this band from Glasgow Scotland are singing about it while in a boat in an Amsterdam canal(or is it the Amstel river I guess...)

Pretty big hit overhere back then.

I think there are about 15 M2C with Dutch numberplates in The Netherlands(17 million inhabitants) currently, because of the extreme pricing starting from 100k €...

And in my small hometown of about 30,000 there are two of them, mine(HS) and my mate's AW M2C plus 763M (also bimmerpost member)
