I noticed a slightly larger gap between hood and bumper on driver side on my M2C (right side in picture when viewed from front of car). The left side looks fine and aligned properly.

You have to be viewing in certain angle and lighting to notice the gap or if you look carefully you will notice it.

Does anyone here have the same gap? If yes, were you able to get it fixed by dealer or know a DIY?

Pictures attached.

Yikes. Looks like a Tesla! You could quantify it with a caliper.

Needs adjustment. Dealer can do it easily or you can.

My passenger side was out of alignment. I took it to the dealership and they fixed it within an hour.

It may be out of alignment and defective like everyone is saying here. but OP, just curious, have you opened and closed the hood much?

I recall when I opened the hood a few times to show some friends the engine, that I had a hard to closing the hood properly and it would not align properly on the right or left side. I've never had issues opening and closing hoods before but this hood latch system is odd to me and user error on my part.

Not opened the hood once, doesn't look defective but maybe misaligned.

Thanks, I will get it aligned on my first oil change then. I read somewhere online that there are knobs in the hood and bumper that can be adjusted to align but I will let the dealer do it.

This guy was able to do it...
Well I'm just going to let the dealer align it.

I'm surprised this passed BMW QA before it left the factory. BTW what is the build date for you car? Mine is Oct 2018.
